10.5 1/4 mile, pretty nippy. M135i about 13's, I'm guessing.
Carwow have drag raced the Porsche - 10.1.

Quicker than a Taycan Turbo too.

First these guys were pumping Crypto couple years back and now they've moved onto Forex.

Tons of bottom of the the barrel clowns on IG pushing this BS and for whatever reason all them gravitate to the Lambo brand because I've met a few of these clowns at Lambo meets who show up in their short term rentals, Gucci head to toe pushing their BS courses. What I'm shocked about is how many people actually fall for these pyramid schemes.

A fool and his money are easily parted...

That and nowadays lots of people just want a quick easy fix to get money and be able to show off on Instagram. They don’t want to work hard for anything f.

In my opinion IG breeds this type of behaviour, that and severe insecurity in young woman and men. It’s all about self perpetuating materialistic BS.

Agreed. Also if it is not the latest and greatest people either don’t want to know or can ridicule prople for not having the latest thing (car, phone etc)

Respect to him taking that McLaren on but I think it would have been better left in the scrap yard, 3 different salvage dealers walked away from it.

Even the carbon tub is damaged, must be beyond saving it has had a massive impact with a tree, that must have stressed most parts outside design limits.

Yep but he is at the point now where it really does not matter. He is moving towards full "production" type content and the purchase of the car and parts is just all a tax write off against his profits.

Bisforbuild is going a similar way, cars get done and then we never see them again. They will just gather dust and then probably sold at a loss.

The UK vloggers are probably a bit different as depreciation is probably a killer for them so they have to sell at highest price possible to ensure they dont have a balancing charge on their accounts for the year end for the capital allowances.

Still, probably a good way to reduce profits esp if they sell to a "mate".... ahem.

Does anyone else on here watch RDB LA? If not, they're an LA based customisation/repair shop that do some really great builds. I know widebody Urus's and lowered chrome Lamborghinis aren't everyones cup of tea but it's quite cool to see what it's like behind the scenes there.

Nice short episodes too.

I dip in occasionally. I used to enjoy the RDB guys when they were a mainstay of the Salomondrin videos.

Given how much exposure it had had before he bought it, I don't suppose what Tavarish paid was the same as what the first owner paid - a good insight that trying to get exposure for a new channel by buying a project like this is a huge gamble (that didn't pay off).

For Tavarish, the actual cost of the 675 and repair will be insignificant given the revenue opportunities, and that's why these projects make sense for him and others.

Interesting to see Goonzquad selling off a couple of their previous repairs right now. I guess they can't all sit around for ever doing nothing once repaired.

Thanks, for some reason I get

This video is restricted. Try signing in with a G Suite account.

That's probably why it doesn't show up under Carfection's video list - weird confused

I watch them, not something I would do to a car but from a YouTube viewing perspective I find it interesting behind the scenes like you mention and like the fairly short but regular videos. I even bought one of their hoodies and randomly when wearing it on a mate's Stag in Poland last year some german blokes shouted 'RDB' from their pub table and we ended up chatting cars.

Amazing how often some people change their wraps to 'keep up' with fashion - not sure how good that is for the original paintwork with repeared glue and heat. Had a look at their new branded shoes site - £400 for a pair of trainers....no thanks!

I guess YouTube need some more moneys

YouTube said:
You're receiving this email because we are making some changes to mid-roll ads that will impact your channel. These changes will make more videos eligible for mid-roll ads to increase your monetisation potential.

Today, only videos longer than 10 minutes are eligible for mid-roll ads. Starting from late July, all videos longer than 8 minutes will be eligible for mid-roll ads. As part of this change, we will turn on mid-roll ads for all eligible videos. This means that videos where you may have opted out of mid-roll ads will now be opted in. Videos that already have mid-roll ads will not be impacted. Future uploads from monetising channels will also have mid-roll ads turned on by default.

Turning on auto mid-roll ads saves creators extra work while helping increase the monetisation potential for new and existing content. We use machine learning to automatically find the most natural breaks in your videos, in order to increase monetisation potential while balancing user experience.

Maybe it's my age but car meets overrun with people making their cars backfire appear to be the thing right now and they're as appealing as a ball waxing. Shame, as I quite like the idea of rolling meets and AdamC has done a pretty good job thus far. It'd be a pity to see them getting shut down due to nobbers.
