SOL another shocking video. When will he actually have any good video ideas? I'm sure the last couple have all been in dealerships. Need's to get more creative.
Usual format, "buying for girlfriend".. mooching around dealership, "owning" car for a month or so, it disappearing from the channel amongst the usual running through tunnels or having unnecessary mods done to the M2 Competition... coffee

Surprised he's modding the M2 or does he own it outright?

Noticed Danny DC2 has disappeared, I am guessing he has been pulled over being a naughty boy and does not want any evidence online that won’t help his case.
yeah I wonder what happened to him! it's probably higher chance that he just got tired of the youtube trolls.

He did seem to take notice of the comments etc, not every youtuber ignores and is able to ignore them sadly.

I enjoyed his content and I hope he gets back into it!

His GF wasn't even in the video. He still gets 60k plus views per video, so I'm guessing his fan base like this sort of thing.

is it possible to buy a new Ferrari without a single option? Would you get barred from the dealer?
This is a big thing being discussed at the moment. If you want to buy a new Roma and have it in the first quarter of ‘21 you’re required to add £40k of options.

I believe it was over £50k with the 812 and £40k on the F8 Tributo too. Madness.
Given that a well specced 812 sheds around £100K almost straight away it needs to be a long term purchase to justify unless you're so rich that that sort of loss is irrelevant to you.

It's tiny, and that's in a car that has a huge footprint. The upshot is that you are sat very centrally and have an incredible seating position, it's just not hugely practical.
I'm sure that this has been asked and answered before, but what's your insurance position? Presumably you have a fleet policy - does that cover tourist days at the Ring?

I actually liked the video. As the sales man seems to be more entertaining when compared to the other youtube personalities. And I look forward to seeing his review on that insane yellow range rover.

Haha this! Tbh I've thought hmmm maybe Id like to go there when replacing our primary car. The sales guy looked honest and friendly enough. Big plus for the business

I'd be interested to know as well. I know my insurance policy on my cars explicitly states no track days, including the ring. Even if it is a tourist day to technically a public road I imagine they would say you were on a track and it would take some arguing. I would get cover just for the sake of it, I cannot afford to take that kind of risk!

I would guess some kind of business insurance to cover filming, production crew / staff / vehicles etc?

As it happens my insurance policy covers me on my own vehicles and others up to a set value, and even included track cover (not something I expected to get) with the proviso that I am not racing or performance testing.

Essentially, as long as I am not timing (which I never do) I am covered. I expect Tim has a similar but meatier policy

Haha yer I'm a sucker for things like that. I have a wardrobe full of expensive clothes I didn't need - bought in terminal 5 in my bored Sunday evening moments waiting for a flight.

I know he gets a hard time from some on this forum (for reasons best known to those people) but i really enjoyed JWWs latest video with his back story of wanting to own a 911 Turbo since he was a kid. Really chuffed that he’s got his hands on one and what a beast it looks!

Robert and Misha are great, have you seen the video where Misha navigates rally style a full lap of the ring? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ9S_4E2I0Y
That is brilliant! I've been playing it in VR in Project Cars 2 recently, and starting to get a hang of parts that aren't just the starting few km, but the number of laps you must have to do in order to get that sort of ability to play it out in your head with no visual reference.
Was there for TF today, never been before and only had YouTube videos for reference. The weather wasn’t particularly kind! Still great fun however

JWW has picked up a lovely specced 992 Turbo S. Gentian blue with graphite leather. Big fan of that spec, though still think the sports exhaust looks all wrong on them.

Some good car viewing in my subscriptions tonight. JWWs new 911 (agree with the above, stunning colour!), TGE in a road trip in his Merc GT, Shmee giving us a look at the AMG GT Black Series and then HubNut bringing things back down to earth with a Zafira.

It'll be interesting to see the AMG GT Black series pitted against the upcoming Huracan STO.

Incredible that a major car manufacturer like Mercedes has given schmee the access to cover the black series and be part of the marketing process as they have. A water shed moment I feel.
