it's poor parenting which is compounded by these acts on social media that reinforce childrens views that it's ok to become triable, to bully and threaten both verbally and physically.
I think the power of social media has eclipsed the power of good parenting unfortunately. I totally agree with where you are coming from though.

It’ll be interesting to see what LLF has to say. I wonder if he’ll wait until his shiners die down...
He was assaulted by a cowardly gang of cretins. It would be very easy for VMax to ban him as well but I don't think that's fair per se.

Id be surprised if the chap in the Bentley(the car) didn't sustain some paint rash in that scuffle.

Hopefully all those involved will wake up today and realise just what weapons grade dick tips they all were yesterday? If they'd been smart they could have just kept the rivalry on track and milked the BMW vs Mercedes, ''my whip has a 1000 brake innit fam'' ting! Instead, it's all got a bit silly with the potential for charges to be brought against some of them.

My highlight moment was DMO'my days in what looked like a Teddy Bear onesy and sunglasses, stomping around like Bob Mortimer.

The above clip just shows there are worse things to watch so it’s not all bad entertainment I guess. Was I the only person that didn’t find them two remotely funny?

Humour is subjective. Always has been. Some folk like Mrs Browns Boys whereas I would rather gargle warm dogs piss.

Sounds like classy stuff. Wonder when it’ll kick off between Harry Metcalfe and Henry Catchpole. Bet they both love a bit of needle!
Harry would be smearing a pre-emergent herbicide on Catchpole’s road bike tyres.

Shame for Vmax their brand has taken a real beating. I'm shocked how chavvy it is compared to when I went 10yrs ago.
It's a shame as I was there earlier this year and thought it was well organized. The issue for me was just the chavvy braggers in tuned RS3 and Mercs. We weren't there to race, just to find the top speed of our car which was great - but the day was let down by idiots approaching us and bragging about how their M5 stage 3 or whatever was better, couldn't care less.

The whole point is it wasn't very easy for VMax to ban anybody.

DMO was banned yet he said fk that and returned with seemingly no resistance by the organisers.

This is what I can't quite comprehend, having attended trackdays, you are asked to sign an indemnity, part of which is enduring a pre event briefing.

How can someone supposedly banned from the event, turn up and run at >200mph on more than one occasion?

Surely the organisers should have asked disruptive participants to leave at the first sign of disruption?

Do people behave like this, when not under "the influence", another reason not to have people near a speed or track event at the first sign of such behaviour?
I thought he was in the event and asked to leave and he left , then returned later on.

Unfortunately I guess he returned with his gang and nobody at the track was willing or able to send him packing yet again .

It’s pretty sad that you now seemingly need bouncers at track days !

Seems like all the drama is good for business.
Seems you're right. I'd never really heard of DMO until yesterday so I checked out his IG - 200k followers. That was at about 2300hrs. I checked again this morning out of sheer curiosity and it had gone up to 220k. Imagine how many he might have got if he'd actually landed that punch.

From the videos I've seen, they're both as bad as each other. Ricky getting lamped multiple times seemed an inevitability as he was causing trouble and offering people (like the mechanic who charged at him) out in the queue, as did DMO throwing handbags, as he tried to get another YouTuber into a fight earlier on.

I wonder if YouTube will take any action.

Ban all AMG/M cars from the main Vmax day and give them their own exclusive day under different branding. Job jobbed.

Having attended some of the early VMax events back 15 or so years ago they were a cheap but amusing day out to blast the car down a runway. They weren’t a patch on a proper track day and neither did they try to be.

Now talk of it being a ‘brand’ and the hype for what still seems to be the same format amazes me. I cannot understand the fascination especially when it’s no longer just a cheap laugh but some sort of lauded high profile event. Unless something has changed, it’s still just a right hand bend and a runway...I’d rather do a day at a proper circuit every day of the week. Fair play to Craig etc for building it to be what it is. Just goes to show I guess.

Exactly. It was a fun day, but I get exactly the same for free on the autobahns to and from the Ring in the Summer.

YouTube couldn’t give a flying funk about a pair of low life plastic gangsters have a tiff about nothing, what’s it got to do with them?!

There are far, far worse videos on their platform that could be dealt with before this handbag swinging!

Not all AMG/M car owners are tools.
