Liking the new MrJWW format based at Bicester Heritage with the Koenigsegg Regera at the track/airfield.
Seems like an inspired move - being able to stretch the legs of cars without worrying about speeding/filming on the public road.
It's quite enjoyable, i just can't stand the fact that he clearly has a wonderful thesaurus to bulk up his vocabulary, but doesn't actually bother to read the definition of what half the words mean. Seems like an inspired move - being able to stretch the legs of cars without worrying about speeding/filming on the public road.

Not a Stradman viewer normally but the Veyron in the snow video is fairly awesome and quite enjoyable to watch. I don't generally envy the super rich but I would very much like to drive a AWD 1000bhp HyperCar in the snow.
Yep, fantastic vid. This is epic!DrJAyres said:

Good move on the whole I think and good luck to him with it.

i've only watched about 10minutes on a random vid & spent about half hour in the comments sections of his videos. Comedy gold lol
for me i seem to focus my time on less channels these days. i'm sick to death of the 'churn' and lifetstyle videos from the usual London City YT'ers -the ''should i buy, i've bought, wrap, exhaust, should i sell'' cycle has been done to death and never appealed to me. i think the fact that almost every video is filmed in a city doing 7mph, with very little footage of the cars in question, also doesnt really help. i suppose the views say otherwise so what do i know!
Carfection - Even if its a car that has no interest to me, the way they are captured and Catchpole's presentation style is just sublime. Beautiful cars driven on beautiful roads.. hard not to like.
Jayemm - Generally really good content. I didnt watch t the Mclaren videos mentioned previously as they just didn't appeal to me, but i appreciate the videos that focus on more accessible cars.
Carwow - I like the general reviews, from a G63 to a Dacia. Drag races becoming a bit samey but still its something diffent, not every Youtuber has access to a runway. i find Matt Watson easy to watch.
Harry's Garage - Evidently petrol in his veins and i like his to the point style of presenting and videos. Clearly for the enthusiasts petrol head as opposed to young boys.
Shmee - used to be a fan in the early days, these days i've lost slight interest. With that said i think the US road trip was fantastic, video that stood out for me was with Jay Leno.
Autocar / Auto Express / Evo - where ever Steve Sutcliffe is, i'm a fan.
Doug Demuro - I think his set up and content is great. He's struck gold really.
TaxTheRich - does anyone remember these? seeing an F40 or F50 being absolutely hammered around a private farm somewhere was just brilliant. Only a handful of videos done but what a way to watch a dream car being used as opposed to a humidified garage somewhere. PItty its gone quiet.
For such a huge place, the automotive world (in the UK then) seems actually quite small, for good watchable and regular content i think. Its sad that the churnable nonsense videos get so much more views than the real reviews and car related content.
Identical list to me. Although Shmee came across out-of-depth with Jay Leno and there were a few missed opportunities for insightful questions on a few of the cars that a decent motoring journalist would've asked Jay. Glenn's Car Collection is one of my favourites at the moment - regular down-to-earth content which is a mix of new car reviews to what it's like to run his current 8-car fleet; a mix of normal/achievable stuff (E46 M3 manual coupe, BMW 1M, Audi S8 daily, Honda S2000, Z3M Coupe) to his McLaren 570S and 993 Turbo.
His E46 M3 vids are some of the best I've seen. And he gives great advice on buying, selling and maintaining.

Looks like TGE, as well as being a genius designer of parking bay storage solutions, is also a time traveller! We know how he likes to claim to be ‘Londons Hardest Worker’, and I think in that vein, in his latest vlog, he is claiming to be filming at 02.00am Monday. However, halfway through the video, you see the Merc AMG GT’s clocks showing 21.49 Tuesday 01/14/2020. He also gets confused at the video end, stating ‘tomorrow’ to be ‘Wednesday’, not Tuesday (easy mistake if it’s really Tuesday, not Monday). There might be an innocent explanation for the time/date being out of sync, (should be sync’d by GPS, right?). Yet so far he’s not offered an explanation to those asking in his comments section. Stranger still, anyone asking, gets their question removed…
Anyways, so his latest garage queen is somehow a Merc AMG GT Roadster. So the 458 Spider gets bought and sold, with no videos in between (as far as I can see). Found out he’d had it 3 months by searching his Instagram, and finding this. This also, coincidently, shows where he most likely got the idea of the storage box on stilts. Yes, that ‘solution’ has been around for years, if not decades. Already being used in TGE’s communal parking bays by his neighbours, long before he claimed to invent it.
You spent that much time looking at clocks in the video and then went back through 3 months of Instagram posts...which is a lot of posts for any "influencer" type.... F**K me really?Anyways, so his latest garage queen is somehow a Merc AMG GT Roadster. So the 458 Spider gets bought and sold, with no videos in between (as far as I can see). If you check his instagram story i think he's answered your question
Something about a t-shirt? I saw no t-shirt, so was he referring to that fakery or some other alleged fakery? He has a reputation for smoke and mirrors, so must be busy fending off accusations all the time. But yes, there was an exact continuity of clothing throughout, even down to his filthy finger nails, car park, car position, background noise, etc. Almost as if it was filmed on just one day at just one time. Remarkable.Shmee said:

I was thinking the same, I frequently film clips hours apart that join in the video and you'd never know. Congrats on the 10 years.
Shmee's content is not for me, so I don't watch it.

Jesus man, has TGE banged your mum or something? I just cant fathom why people continue to follow/watch people that they don't like. Just don't f&*cking watch him and you wont get your knickers in such a twist over things he does.

Damn straight, talking sense there. Unsubscribe to those that annoy and don't give them your vote or your very very precious time. Totally agree re Shmug and TGE... the worst of YT automotive cringe-content.Shmee's content is not for me, so I don't watch it.

Exactly this. Why keep subscribing to and watching someone that riles you? What a waste of time.
It’s the PH way. See the Top Gear/Grand Tour threads where people complain about how awful it is, yet still watch every week just so they can complain about it. Edited to add: I don't even see the point of discussing the YTers that I don't enjoy - where is the benefit in that? I'd be there for years; there are millions of them!

Perfect mate, don't sell your soul for views if you don't want to.
Glad you're doing ok and still plugging away with the cars buddy.
Was surprised to see a video pop up on my feed but as always was a good watch. Will be interesting to see all the projects come together. Perfect mate, don't sell your soul for views if you don't want to.

So this new mr2 with the battery cut off switch , is he racing it ?
He dropped a few hints on IG etc saying stuff like "built to regulation" etc. So that's the assumption, but I'm not aware he's declared anything officially.https://www.750mc.co.uk/formulae/mr2.htm
Seems like a reasonable shout.

It all depends on what you are like as a person when it comes to what you watch.
If your deep into the mechanical side of things then the last thing your going to watch is Shmee, TGE, Sol, AHR, and alike because they won't appeal, same as if you are not into the mechanical side of things and like all the glitz and glamour of certain events and how much you can buy xyz car on finance then the above maybe up your street.
Hello my friends. Yeah I was going to write a Readers Cars thread for the new MR2 but haven't got around to it yet. Could do with a place to bung all the pictures without running in to Photobucket problems, but I'll get around to that. New video is going down well, was somewhat concerned that YouTube would nuke the reach slightly after not posting for a while.
As the other chap mentioned it's the 750mc MR2 champ that I'm going for
Loads to do though, building the car, buying the gear, getting my license. I'm sure I could pull together some interesting VLOGs from it but trying to keep it on the low down, somewhat. I don't want to be the vlogger on the grid, just the new guy with the novice sticker! and obviously don't want any people bothering me at race weekends haha. I'll be nervous as feck

He said in his video that he wouldn't be vlogging when he's racing it, so it definitely sounds like it, sure he'll crop up on here and let us in on his plans soon.Loads to do though, building the car, buying the gear, getting my license. Wow, Parker from Vehicle Virgins is kicking it up a notch. Sold the Speciale Aperta and bought a Rolls Royce Wraith and a Ferrari 812 Superfast. V12-tastic!
He couldn’t really drive the S-A without ruining its value, so buying those two V12s after they’ve taken a big depreciation hit while still having a lot of cash to do an engine and gearbox swap on his Supra is going to be far better for content.
