I admire the ambition but my guess is that I could buy the rather better resolved Panamera shooting brake for the same money...
Is there a Panamera shooting brake? I thought they were all 4-doors?Or maybe you're just being pedantic in which case the Panamera Sport Turismo is actually a 5 door

I think you may have missed it when they changed the definition of shooting brake in 2015 to include 4 door variants...

Who is 'they'? A shooting brake is a two-door. An estate is a four-door (or five if you are being pedantic).Or maybe you're just being pedantic in which case the Panamera Sport Turismo is actually a 5 door

I admire the intent, however it just doesn't appear to be a particularly good effort... The line all the way across the back doesn't work for me, and there's something odd with the windscreen line vs door windows. I want to like it, but in truth I'd take the old 944 shooting brake. A much better resolved design all round IMO, and no doubt more practical being front engined, although the 944 did have a fairly high boot floor IIRC.
Agree wholeheartedly. (And while I know that the 944 Shooting Brake divides opinion then I happen to love it!)

Not forgetting the 928 Kombi from Artz:Leins said:

Not forgetting the 928 Kombi from Artz:I absolutely love the old 944 and 924 Kombis, so this naturally looks great to me. I think the integration of the rear, when painted, will look really clean and more natural than most body style overhauls, and with power boosted to compensate for weight I imagine it would be a really fun, if occasionally impractical, daily runabout. Unless of course it costs tens of thousands, which if its made with official Porsche parts I imagine it does.
Also, not a fan of the 997 front end particularly. I'd keep the fried egg lights, or maybe update to the 996.2 style with an aero kit front bumper. Keep it looking more period, and sort of help the interior and exterior match a bit more I guess.
