Unless my eyes deceive me I can’t see how the aperture for the boot is any larger than the back window? I can’t see any panel gaps that indicate it could be any larger?

Puts me in mind of the joke where a local is asked for directions, and replies with "Well I wouldn't start from 'ere".
this.

I'm all for the quirky but that needs a introduction by xzibit no? "We heard you like Porsches..."

I think you may have missed it when they changed the definition of shooting brake in 2015 to include 4 door variants...

Or maybe you're just being pedantic in which case the Panamera Sport Turismo is actually a 5 door
Who is 'they'? A shooting brake is a two-door. An estate is a four-door (or five if you are being pedantic).
Mercedes. CLA and CLS estates are referred to as such despite being 5 door. Doesn’t make it so, of course
Yep, Mercedes are wrong. That's just marketing guff to separate their clearly superior vehicles from mere 'estate' cars.

As a lover of BMW Z3 MCoupe I can only approve of this. I'm sure it'd add absolutely nothing of real use over a Cayman but whatever

Wouldn't it be better to have the enlarged boot area on the front?

What on Earth is going on with that front end? All sorts of aggressive vents and inlets but then... a dopey little smile on the 'bonnet'. The Boxster nose would have looked much better.

I would have thought a front engine car would have been a better starting point.

I clicked on this expecting to have to come up with some sort of witty comment on how st it is. Turns out it's amazing.

And I'm a fully qualified graphic designer with a degree from a real college to prove it so my opinion means more than the rest from you tasteless plebs.

It’s super, but bonkers. Kind of channeling a Scimitar. And there wasn’t a 3-series touring until one of the factory guys made one in his shed for a laugh, and look at them now. Take note Herr Doktor Porsche!

I like the idea, but it would look a lot better without the funny arc on the rear.

What's happened to the layout of this site? The font has increased and the comments look all wrong? What's going on, have I missed something?
