I need to see it in the flesh but to me it looks like it’s just had an XE nose grafted onto it. Lazy, corporate bks.
That was my first thought. Front seems very bland and could be any car in the Jag range. Far prefer the old nose. Still a beautifully proportioned car but I'd far rather be staring at the original version.

What a mess. Do Jag actually produce anything decent these days? All a bit old and crap. Maybe the IPace but that's hardly interesting.

They've ruined one of Jaguar's best ever designs.

Facelifting for the sake of facelifting.

ETA. Note how they haven't put out a picture with a full front view, now it's worst angle.

They've turned an elegant beautiful car into another angry monstrosity.
And while they've been at it they've binned the V6 and the manual that comes with it.

Inside you've got an instrument cluster that sort of looks tacked on and somehow worse than the one Audi first put on their 2015 TT. (5 years ago!)

Meanwhile you're left with a heavy V8 or a gutless 2L turbo.

Having driven the i4 F-type I can say that the only reason why these sell the best is because they can be purchased via personal/company lease very easily. The stressed auto box is constantly struggling to keep this poor little four pot in it's power band and does a very poor job of it.

I will continue receiving classified notifications for the old v6 manuals and buy the first ultra blue one I see....

I like it, but then I'm happy with my XE 300, so that's probably no great surprise, is it? laugh

Surprised there isn't an i6 version,as there seems to be a rather large gap between the 300 i4 and the 450 V8.

I just hope Jaguar know their markets....

While a lovely looking car, but I am not convinced with the ‘saloon car’ styling to the front over the out going model. The rest of the update is just niff-naff and should have been upgraded years ago.

I am at a loss to the the end of the SVR model? I know they hardly sell, but why do JLR have SVO if every model in the line up isn’t breathed on. So there is now just a RRS or F-Pace SVR model? Whats the point? No XE, XF, FT SVR.....

Still wouldn’t sell my XK for one, shame.

Still no manual? I can't be the only one that wants a modern version of the AC Cobra..

Wow, major improvement on the original. Always thought the front end lacked something, this looks fantastic.

Wow is that just the photographer's perspective or is the driving seat really virtually over the rear axle? Why not just go steam loco and take out the boot and perch the driver on the end?

I've driven an F Type R on many occasions. I really don't think it'd suit a manual, but maybe that's just me!

I agree, always disliked the face of the other one, but this looks great. Only thing is now it doesnt look right with the rear view, I would have liked to have seen some adjustments to that aswell

Did they fix the monumental cock up on the original which was the boot/luggage layout? i.e no space to store anything.

Another one who agrees this is an improvement over the original front end, which I always found a little ungainly.

Glad to see this is still being made, just a shame the first comment was a typical excremental post from cmoose - I'm surprised he didn't suggest it would be better on 17s laugh

Stunningly good looking car. Agree that it should weigh less and concerned about phasing out v6 for v8 - apparently Jag have got a load of v8s they needed to get rid of - when the world is downsizing. I really wish them success. I thought the old model couldn't get any prettier until i saw this.
