Is Autotrader a swear word round these parts?!

I’ve had a search which I have a gander at every day or three which brings up newly listed petrol estates with a minimum displacement of 3L.

Recently deleted one which specifically searched for any JCW Mini hatch from ‘07-‘09; the obsession was becoming a worry! wobble

Interested to hear if anybody else does this too, or do I just need to get out more laugh

I have a few partly because I don't know what I am going to get next to satisfy family bus duties and "my car" duties.
Lexus RX under £11k (bit put off at the moment due to all the catalyst thefts)
Mondeo 2.5t estate
Lexus 4.0l or bigger engines under £6k
All within 100miles.

I also have a bunch of other saved searches that I look at increasingly less now particularly diesels and SUVs (RX excluded)

I don't have any exotica searches for cars I cannot afford.

I’ve got a few.

Porsche 911(997)C2S gen 2
Porsche Cayman 981S
Lotus Evora S 2+0,
Nissan 370Z Nizmo

Not really sure what I want next though to be honest. Just like to track the prices. See if any great deals pop up that might tempt me.

Just 1 and it's been running for ages, it's for a rare Renault Laguna GT, the later model with the engine from the Mégane 225 (albeit in a lower state of tune).
So far, in 9 months of nationwide radius not 1 has come up.
Tbf if it did some up now I'm probably past wanting one

Have you considered a Mondeo ST220 estate?! Now that’s a great value wagon IMO!

So to be clear, if one of any of these came up I have nowhere to put it and no money to buy it but I track them anyway...

  • Lotus Elise under £25k
  • BMW M6 (F12/F13) in blue
  • Lotus Esprit Turbo
  • Aston Martin Vantage Roadster Manual (so I can follow movements in mine)
  • Aston Martin in Blue
  • Aston Martin 1970/1980 Vantage
Also save in my “random cars I’m looking at” list are a DB5, a Cadillac deVille, a Corvette C1, a Ferrari F3555 a 1968 Ford Mustang and an original Elan. I need help.
