The Suzuki Swift overtake that leads to an impact with a stonewall is at 2 minutes 23 seconds.

Two idiots coming together. dash cam car should have slowed - whilst not legally having too admittedly, just common sense. It's a blind bend, if a car was coming the other way all three would have nowhere to go, thusly there is a risk for the camera car.
Rule 168
Being overtaken. If a driver is trying to overtake you, maintain a steady course and speed, slowing down if necessary to let the vehicle pass. Never obstruct drivers who wish to pass. Speeding up or driving unpredictably while someone is overtaking you is dangerous. Drop back to maintain a two-second gap if someone overtakes and pulls into the gap in front of you.

I would like to see the start of that clip - wonder if the cammer sped up to block the overtake?
That's where my bets would be too.
I dont think they sped up, as in accelerated, but I think they made a point of not braking, looks like they went over the line as well.

Heading into Keighley, so fairly typical of the standard of driving round there, wink

The man is obviously mentally ill, look at the body language when he's cutting through the gates at speed and approaching the crash... if he was just a very angry person playing up for the camera he would have flinched.

He's in the middle of a psychotic episode... I'm no psychiatrist but that was the mental equivalent of seeing someone sat with the bone poking out the side of their arm... you don't need to be a doctor to know they've broken their arm.
Yep, he has some serious mental health issues.Maybe he'd had some Columbian marching powder too, or similar,

Good find, I'll stake my flag at the dashcammer sped up to try and stop it.

I've been watching this Chinese channel for a while, most amusing. Today's is exceptionally mad, so many useless drivers it's untrue!

I don't think they did either, but even if they did then the correct response isn't to carry on a dangerous overtake into a blind corner on the wrong side of the road because had there been oncoming traffic... well, we can all imagine the result. fking idiot
I don't disagree that the Swift was at fault - what I'm trying to say is it's hard to judge how they got their without seeing the whole clip.

In the past I've had people try and block overtakes, and it easily turns what was a perfectly fine overtake into squeeky bum time. Once or twice they've left me in the position that to slow down is the worst course, so you've just got to keep your foot in and hope it turns out OK.
I don't think it matters how they got there, only one car is on the wrong side of the road approaching a blind bend (clearly) too fast. The Swift should have quit and had their beef with DC in a more appropriate place or - even better - just forgot about it and got on with their day instead of risking killing themselves and others, and ultimately ending up parked in a stone wall with a broken car

A rather unskilled bellend as well, what kind of cretin brakes whilst cornering hard on what appears to be a wet road? You see the inside rear wheel lock up immediately followed by the spin.

That road is only 2 or 3 miles from me and know it well (just realised I've been driving these roads for 25 years, as my dad used to take me when I was learning). Before that corner is a long uphill straight that is atleast 1/4 mile long. If the Dashcam car was up to around 60mph prior to the corner, the Micra would have to be thrashing it to do an overtake at the top where its steeper.
There is plenty of of decent opportunities to pass before...

I also thought it looked familiar when I saw the clip but couldn't quite place it. my Grandad had a farm just off Bingley Rd so I spent many years around the cobweb of roads leading to it but it's been a long time since I've been up there. Definitely not roads for taking risks but as you say there are plenty of places where you can plan an overtake better than the car in the video did.

Not sure they actually have such rules for recovery trucks as they are usually exempt from most things, tacho, length, train weight etc

Finally... an example of poor lane keeping on a roundabout:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuJ_aIqLiGI

These are the three main ones captured since I got my system, I've more from my motorbike buy they are more related to me hitting pigeons - the one exceptional moment when a sheet of plasterboard came off the roof of a transit I was following at 60mph of course the camera wasn't on frown
