After numerous Fiesta STs, I determined that space and comfort were necessary upgrades. Dismissing what I thought I wanted, an i30N, because it rode too hard and a Skoda Superb 280 for it's rubbery steering a slushy DSG, I bought this, an incredibly rare car, at a useful discount. Great value, will depreciate like a stone but I can't help liking it. Also rides well on 20" wheels...
Still have the Mustang in the garage, though.

Last actual 'purchase' was a Prodrive Brera V6 S, from ebay, unseen, 500 miles away in Aberdeen. Why? Commute distance halved, so economy can also halve and I wanted something 'nice' to commute in.
Stopped for a bite to eat on the drive home, such a beautiful looking car
a handsome motor; the very definition of a contemporary classicStopped for a bite to eat on the drive home, such a beautiful looking car

culture on wheelsif I'm not mistaken, most were produced in LHD and sold the other side of the Atlantic
probably two or three generations of young men, and a number of women, grew up thinking, "I want that car" -- at least among those of us who happened to be in the Northeast US in the 70s and 80s

Courtesy of a bit of badge engineering it's a Buick in the US. It's de-contented here, so things like the heads-up display are not available. Our loss.
Not the most popular motor around, but I reckon it punches above its weight, as it were. Comes in a natty estate as well. And I prefer that estate to any crossover or SUV.
What’s your honest opinion of this car performance and fuel economy? I think the interior feels high quality and am considering this or maybe an s class or 730d to replace a bmw 640d..

Not to everyone's taste, it's not sure if it's a sports car, cruiser or even a real Porsche .... bought it in June 2019 to replace a cracking but troublesome XF sportbrake. Hated by many for having 4 doors, a diesel engine, I like it, Mrs Grouch likes it & nobody has spat on it or thrown any abuse at me .......... YET !

I agree. It wasn't on my radar until I stumbled across it. They are cavernous in the rear. The 197 PS 1.6 Turbo provides sufficient power, not sure how the 165bhp version fares. The new GSi has a bit more power again.Courtesy of a bit of badge engineering it's a Buick in the US. It's de-contented here, so things like the heads-up display are not available. Our loss.

This Insignia was such an improvement on the last Insignia that I think they missed a trick in not changing the name.

We are going off the beaten track a bit in Spain in a couple of months, so picked this shed up to allow a little more ground clearance. Also useful if any of Puggit’s snow forecasts materialise
