We are going off the beaten track a bit in Spain in a couple of months, so picked this shed up to allow a little more ground clearance. Also useful if any of Puggit’s snow forecasts materialise
Ferries booked to Bilbao and all set for a nice 800km drive down to Alicante region where a villa awaits us.
Blimey, you call that a shed?Ferries booked to Bilbao and all set for a nice 800km drive down to Alicante region where a villa awaits us.
Also, it is an SD4 diseasel, so when you start it up it sounds like a shed door rattling in a strong wind

To be fair, it is the HSE with all the toys but it wasn’t a lot of money and is very different in size / height to what we normally have - more like being inside a shed.

Looks good. My wife has one and I know what you mean about the diesel clatter, old school. Good cars though. Also, it is an SD4 diseasel, so when you start it up it sounds like a shed door rattling in a strong wind
Picked this up from Manchester last night, first ‘grown-up’ car for me, vehicle number 6 in the current fleet. Lovely drive down, though only got 43mpg - though that was into the teeth of a gale so maybe it will improve in more normal conditions!
Inscription spec, Xenium and Winter packs so lots of toys. Super secure feeling so hoping it will serve me well crunching up and down the M40/M25/M23.
Considers E-Class, CLS SB, Superb etc, but Volvo combination of comfort and assist tech won me over.
Edit to add: not a candidate for bad parking thread - space marked as EV but not yet set up with charging points!!!

Purchased this last February, 458 Italia, easily the most fun car I have ever owned. It replaced an F-Type SVR which replaced a 5.0 Mustang, I test drove 570S, Huracans and 991.1 GT3 RS and was easily the most fun car at legal speeds, the others though also incredible just lacked that fizz at legal speeds, also test drove a 488 which left me feeling numb.
Done 7000 miles in the past year, needless to say it never fails to make me grin, smile and giggle like a kid, I love it, just had a recent detail / polish / ceramic coat at Autobrite and has being trouble free so far.
A few months later I sold my E46 M3 and Clio 172 Cup as before I used to enjoy driving the E46 M3 when I had the SVR and Mustang because it felt lightweight and precise, as it was CSL spec and weighed only 1320kg, but once I had the 458 I simply stopped driving the M3 and the Clio was always an investment and restore project.
Now for daily duties and poor weather days I got one of these little pocket rockets, it might not be as accomplished and planted as a Fiesta ST but it has a real old school vibe and again is fun to drive at legal speeds - Abarth 180 Compitizione Performance Pack:
Done around 5000 miles since owning, so far needed a drop link and a wheel bearing, it is on 52,000 miles now so expected wear and tear items really.

OT; Was yours the white cerb? ?? I think we may have met on a past Z3 run out...
In any case, here's my last splurge
It's a bit rough around the edges and needs some body repairs but i love it all the same!
This must collect more than a few looks while on the petrol station forecourt or parked down the pub.In any case, here's my last splurge

Another quite cinematic photograph, this shot.

I went to my local car meet and they have some great photographers come along - That's not my picture, I take far more amateurish ones:
That daytime photo reveals the sex appeal of that particular green on that body. I always wanted the later models from TVR to be federalised (or exempted) for export!
