RE: Czinger 21C breaks cover ahead of Geneva

There really are some miserable, boring, bitters bds on here. This is a car website, and yet anything comes along thats more than most people can afford its dismissed as pointless, a waste of time, boring. Well guess what, there are people out there with a lot more money than you. There are people that are interested in cars, even if they can't afford them. Why don't you go off and whinge on a different website about things you don't like and leave this one for people who are interested in the stuff they write about. I can't understand the mentality of reading an article about something that doesn't interest you in the first place, then clogging up the comments telling everyone how bored you are with the thing you knew you wouldn't he interested in. You lot are far more boring than a new hypercar, yet somehow feel like your contribution is somehow interesting enough to type it out for others to endure

There are a lot of showy super expensive cars appearing, and plenty of folk are bored of it all. It's a sign of the times, maybe a reaction to perceived increasing financial inequality. Creating a million pound, low volume car someone drew on a computer has become the norm. It's not interesting. Making expensive stuff is easier than making clever stuff. When was the last true working class hero on sale? The 90s with TVR?! No wonder we're all sick of it.
But hey, guess I'm not "car guy" enough.

Super cars have always been expensive. Fair enough if its not for you, but I still dont understand why so many people have to declare its boring. Theres lots of yhings on here that I find boring, so I don't bother reading the article and then start announcing to everyone that I find it boringWhen was the last true working class hero on sale? Whilst I appreciate all the time and effort that goes into designing all these hypercars and am pleased they exist, I just wonder why these engineers/designers don't spend some time trying to come up with something that might be suitable for the masses. Yes they can come up with something made of unobtainium with tech that leaves the majority of us in awe, but come on guys build something relevant to the real world. Where is the affordable hybrid/electric sports car that we will all seemingly need/want? We haven't all got bottomless bank accounts!

The Ring Czinger?
I was thinking that this would describe the new owner after they had experienced full-bore acceleration for the first time, or perhaps when they’d nipped into town for a cheeky phall curry. As an aside, isn’t the 0-60 (62?) time in the ball park of F1 cars? Only asking as they are the best of the best in driving terms and have countless hours of practice; I’m wondering just how long after the first car is delivered (if it ever is) that we see a clip on YouTube of the proud owner accelerating away and promptly binning it...?

Oddball bubble car looks as well which will only appeal to the usual nerdy goofy beardy types with the mandatory buck teeth, milk bottle glasses and wooly tank top. The type any woman wouldnt take a second glance at...

It's easier, and more interesting, to hand build a small number of very expensive and exclusive cars, than it is to deal with the red tape of type approval, tooling, dealer networks, volume targets, etc etc. If I were designing s car, I'd much rather have a small address book of customers that I dealt with personally than a vast database of faceless names, for example.

Same acceleration as this year's Tesla sports cat @150,000 USD .
this is basically why sports cars are about to die, performance isn't going to be correleated with the amount of money it costs. and with everything going electric then it won't be long before straight line performance is crazy cheap and there's really nowhere left for it to go.

As it happens I really like the look of both cars (Tesla and Ring Stinger) but the Czenga looks the part more than the Tesla does.
I saw a jaguar ipace the other day and it moved off so quickly it was impressive, I like the idea one day of a focus that does 0-60 in 3 seconds and has a 200 mile real world range witha mid 20s price tag.
These sort of halo projects make that dream possible. Example in 90s porsche 911 turbo had 400bhp today you can buy a ford focus with that.
