Fastest insurance claim payout.

My sister hit a deer in her Honda crv the other night. Deer was trapped under the car still kicking, sister was terrified, car had its front corner stoved in rendering it a write off. Deer was promptly shot by the local game warden, sis has whiplash and soreness in many places. A sorry affair but it could have been far, far worse. My point here was that this happened Friday evening and by Monday the payout was in her account. Thank you Admiral.
Has anyone heard of a quicker insurance claim?

Admiral was similar when a knob drove into the side of my car and then drove off. I think it happened on the Tuesday afternoon and I had the money by the Thursday lunchtime.
I would thoroughly recommend Admiral after that. Excellent, quick, helpful service. I’m not with Admiral this time because I got a much better price with Aviva, but I’d happily have an Admiral policy in future

My grandfather used to be in the aviation insurance industry. They had a claim made one afternoon (office in London) and they had a check on the client's desk at 9am the next day (in New York).
That is good they got out quickly to take a look, but how long before they paid out/replaced this desk?Another downside of a quick payout is if you're still shaken up after a crash you might accept whatever they put on the table without giving it too much thought. If they take a little longer you'll have settled down and started to think rationally about the practicalities of replacing your vehicle.

Aviva motor trade policy, £40K car stolen off forecourt overnight, discovered at 8:30 am. Notified them at 9am, all documents scanned and emailed to them at 10:30. Telephone call at 11 to discuss value, price agreed. Money in account at 3:30pm by chaps transfer.
I have no idea what a chaps transfer is but it sounds terrific! In 2001 I got knocked off my motorbike by a car passenger opening a door as I was filtering.
This happened at about 2pm on Saturday.
Monday morning I got a phone call from the car drivers insurer (AXA) telling me they'd sort everything and someone would be along shortly to collect the bike. Not a payout as such but I never had to do anything at all.
2014 got two motorbikes stolen (me and OH) from the garage - this was a Tuesday morning. One insured with Ageas, other with AXA. Ageas settlement was in the bank the following Thursday and the Axa payment the following day. I had a new MV Agusta F4 delivered the week after.
I wrote off an E class coupe on 21st November 2016 and the insurance settled the claim, paid off all the finanace, everything (no forms to fill in at all, really helpful nice people) on the 29th. I was back in an identical car a couple of weeks after that - not only that the lease co refunded me the last months rental which was very odd - and then sent me £50 as an apology for it being late.
One of these days I'm going to get one of these things that drags on for years, as karma.
