If I had the space I’d have more no doubt. I have 3 cars and a van.

I keep thinking about going to one car but variety is the spice & all that!

Always on the look out for something else too.

Current stable:-

TVR Chimaera
UAZ 469B
Chevy Astro day van
Honda Accord Tourer

TVR and UAZ are keepers, the other 2 are likley to be moved on this year - consolidate into something else...

I have two, and would have more if space and cash allowed!

Most of the reason I currently have only one is I spent all the money buying a house and now I have the space to park an absurd number of cars but no money to buy or run them irked. Ah well, first world problems.

I have one, but would love a second.

Question for those with 3 cars (to themselves) or more:

Do you drive them all? If not, why not?

Currently on 3 ... lowest since I was 16.

To be honest I’m looking for something “special” (Aren’t we all?!) but will need to get rid of one of the others first which isn’t happening anytime before December.

I couldn’t be arsed with 5+ I have to admit.

Between myself and MrsHorney we currently have 6 road legal cars.

2006 Mazda MX5 2.0 Sport - Sunny day and holiday car
2002 Mini Cooper S - My Sprint, hillclimb, track day car
2001 Mini Cooper - It was cheap and the Y reg cars are rare and have some odd bits so it's a fun little project
2014 Mini Copper D Clubman - Daily hack car allowance car for me as an account manager, does 25k a year
2019 Mini Cooper Sport - MrsH's Company Car
1979 Mini City 850cc - MrsH's pride and joy

Those are all generally taxed, tested and insured all year round. I also have shared ownership in an MX5 race car and lots of spares for all sorts!

Live in a 1 bed flat, lol.

I drive them in rotation. "Drive a different Alfa to work every day" . The diesel workhorse does a lot of the mileage, but the V6s do about 100 miles every 2 weeks. Driving to work every day in a 3.2 is fun, but becomes painfully costly. Being Alfas, the older ones cant go out in the rain, so are summer use only.

OK, as some people are doing lists, here is my criminal record:

2001 156 V6 2.5. Bought at 1 year old for 12k. Brilliant thing, got all the upgrades on it.
2001 156 2.4 Diesel. Bought for £370 on eBay. Got most of the upgrades on it. Very sensible, more than fast enough
2004 GT 3.2. Bought for £900 with a blown engine and rebuilt. Got LSD and KWs on it, needs roll bars.
2005 GTA 3.2. Bought for £3000. Needs paint, in a queue for the bodyshop. Currently SORN.
2005 166 3.2. Bought for £300 with no engine or gearbox. Engine and gearbox found. Luxurious. Got an LSD and KWs
1997 155 2.5 wide body. Yes, IMO 12v engines are better than 24v. Needs paint, but a lovely drive.
1981 Alfetta GTV. Summer car only.
1998 916 GTV 3.0. Currently undergoing serious front end mechanical work. Hope to get it done before end of Feb.
2000 916 GTV 3.0. Currently undergoing serious welding. Might get it finished this year.

Mrs rxe has a 159 SportWagon.

There are some LandRovers and Tractors as well.

As I said I'm building a mahoosive garage and workshop. Some comedy conversations with the planners who (not unreasonably) think I'm running an Alfa garage. However, I can hand on heart say "I've never sold a car". Which is why I have so many.....

Reading this thread has made me realise I probably have a few too many!

I've been wanting to sell a few for a while but as is always the way I like to sell them in tip top condition so have to do some work on them first!

Currently have 15, but 2 are joint owned with friends!

TVR Chimaera in the garage, gets a handful of outings in the summer.

Mk1 Insight and VW Transporter alternate as dailys.

Looking for something else at the moment, something quick, comfortable and practical but with the OH's C3 my 2 car drive is already a touch crowded.

However, if you were to change the title to "Anyone else keep buying more and more turntables?" my answer would be very different.

There’s probably a treatment available for that. I must do some research.

I have three vehicles and my wife has one. I have driven them all in the last week, including my wifes car.

Currently we have

1982 VW air cooled camper.
2004 Smart Roadster
2007 BMW 330i
2009 Nissan Note

I enjoy their differences, although all mine are RWD and blue! I do miss a FWD hot hatch, but I think my wife may instigate the dreaded one in, one out policy soon..... So the Nissan Note ( owned for 8 years) may have to go.... smilesmile

8 vehicles in my household, 4 in my name (3 of which are road legal, 1 very much in bits) - I've also been offered a twist-n-go 125 for basically nothing but I've got nowhere to put it else I'd have that as well (and if I could fit it in then I'd also have a 2 stroke 125)

The only one I want to sell is the £4k daily as I want something cheaper to run around in...
