F40 for me, and with the change a SVJ.
After all these years the F40 is still in another league compared to the styling of these things, and most cars since.
What is is worth is in the eye of the investor - objectively.
As a car to drive, it is not worth 10% of that price - subjectively.
I was all for the price until this post, totally agree (albeit maybe an F50 ).After all these years the F40 is still in another league compared to the styling of these things, and most cars since.

Amazes me F40's aren't worth more.

Isn’t it just a case of the relatively high build numbers of the F40 meaning that there isn’t as much of a rarity premium to pay? I can always remember JK stating that he wasn’t nervous about selling his as he knew that there would always be a number of examples available at any given time if he changed his mind (or words to that effect). Amazes me F40's aren't worth more.

I also think the F40 will hold a place in motoring history far more prominently than the Reventon which I think should bolster its value in future.
Unfortunately, I'm unlikely to ever been in a position to make such a financial decision

Me neither. To be honest if I ever did suddenly become in the position to be able to pick and choose from the very best I'd probably struggle to narrow a list down, so many different cars I'd like to experience.I remember seeing on in the carbon a few years back at a motorshow. Compared to the Murcielago LP640 and SV, it was no looker but you can see where Lambo was going as a styling exercise, especially when the Aventador was unveiled. For the money, I'll go for the Murcielago SV with some change for tyres and a little fuel.

interesting point. But ultimately its rarity is only due to its coachbuilt nature (underneath it’s just a murcielago), and compared to most coachbuilt cars, the reventon is almost mass produced: my bentley is one of three, my lagonda one of perhaps 9 and yet both of them together are probably cheaper than two reventon doors...overall, it’s a scam for idiots.

Forum for car enthusiasts, could've fooled me
Indeed, which is why we enthusiastically discussed the merits of the Reventon and it's value against other great vehicles from motoring history.Being a car enthusiast doesn't mean blindly agreeing that all cars are amazing and worth their high price!
Hell of a lot of critique on here these days though, you’d think it was a regulatory panel more than a passionate group of enthusiasts.
Celebrating things for what they are, surely this is as stated the foundation for some of the most cohesively styled overdramatic cars on the road. The 7 year old kid in me loves that.

Looking back in terms of style, worst design ever which sadly influenced the Gallardo 2nd generation with its ugly pointy front and also influenced the Aventador with an even uglier saw-like front. The proportions just look weird with a pointy front. The last good looking Lambo is the Murc and even Diablo with classic round tail lights.
