I once put an excellent parking attempt on here and got similarly shouted down.
But in all honesty, who the fk parks without dry steering? No one that I know.

One time in Dartmouth I drove round and round and found what seemed to be the only parking space in the whole town. It was a bay where some tt had gone over the line leaving a space about 3 inches wider than a Rover 200. I reversed in and had to climb out the window then get in via the boot to close the window.

The problem with parking super close is that whilst you might be a parking ninja, you can bet the person on either side of you isn't, so when you get back to your car it's scratched / dented to buggery..........

As has been said, everyone in Paris parks like that, although a fair bit of nudging usually takes place. If someone parked that close to me I’d be really annoyed.

I'm guessing you were parked and the other two cars parked after you did, the laws of physics surely prevent you from getting into that space, assuming the car has to be at an angle to do so.

To the doubters...

Hand on heart I parked in that space. Took some shuffling and maybe a very little amount of dry steering, but not lock to lock, just a little at the start of the best small fwd and backward movement. I didn't hit either of the cars

The people saying I've screwed the others, the car behind me is the last car before yellow lines, the car in front had over a meter is space in front of it so all good!
