430d catback v backbox delete
Discussion
Ok so this is a well covered topic that I’ve trawled through for weeks now but the direct comparison never seems to be made (for diesels at least). I know a lot of people are going to probably just flame the diesel and I’m aware of it’s limitations but it’s the only viable option for the driving I do unfortunately!
I’ve purchased a dual exit diffuser so I’m looking to convert from the stock twins to dual exit but my only dilemma at the moment is with specific details and the option between a catback or a back box delete. I’m mostly doing it for the neater finish from the rear of the car but I also want to gain a tiny bit more volume and grunt from the exhaust note (although I know it will be very subtle with cat and dpf still present).
Anybody have any experience or input that will help me choose or weigh up the pros and cons?
Thanks a lot.
