His sales pitch might benefit from some tweaking...

"Just had an oil change and brakes done everything else seems to be in good condition needs paint work sorting out and it struggles to start sometimes because it needs a new mass air flow sensor and throttle body cleaning but thats all the issues i know about"

No pic as I was driving but a totally standard grandad spec VW Passat - quite a new one. With chameleon tint on the headlights.

What goes through a persons mind when they decide to do that to a car anyway but what looked like the only mod? Weird.

Oh my, my favourite bit about that ad is him noting the private plate (a cheap NI one) is included and is unique so you can find it in car parks. Well, I may be mistaken but aren't all plates unique and that notwithstanding, I don't think you'd have trouble finding that in a car park anyway.

Under what measure is that "badly modified"?

It is low rider style and (at least from the pics) done competently with a decent paintjob. You might not like it but, it is what it is...

You are correct in that it seems to be well done - however, no matter how well executed, it is still gopping hence in the correct thread

Also extra points deducted because of how elegant the donor vehicle was. There is a lesser crime of doing that to a Hyundai Stellar but to a W114 Merc?

Has the orange car got the headlights and front wings off of an TX4 Cab?

Exactly it's only a Shed, but it looks like the owner lost interest after only creating the rusty finish on one side. Love the mismatched wheels too!

No lads that's a clever anti radar system to prevent speed cameras
