Hopefully BMW are just trolling us and they don't actually think that car looks good.

Similar can be seen at any car meet / show.
Ford owners seem to love stickers and for some reason putting cuddly toys under the bonnet.

Vauxhall owners are the same. Definitely the opposite of the "less is more" camp... Its like supermarket sweep on Temu and lob it all toward your car. If it sticks on with 3M tape, its a go-er.

Interesting, were the business cards the people who did the conversion?
Do you think it is badly modified because Audi into Porsche or some other reason?
Would you want the engine air intakes inside the cabin directly behind your head?

You are going to need ear-defenders to be able to drive that. Also, with the windows up that is going to be seriously down on power. That is an engineering failure on multiple levels.

That's how it left the showroom. It's an XM Red Label

Jesus, that's got to be the ugliest OEM car? Can't think of anything worse than that off the top of my head?
To learn you can buy them in this state was a real surprise after I posted the pic. I thought it was ar kid's first attempt.
Don't like that colour scheme, love the car

WTAF?

Dear me that is not just bad it is idiotic. Just about wins the thread for me!

double-glazed bulkhead and twin side-mounted air scoops would make a world of difference to that

Well, I suppose it would be quieter and breathe better but it would still look shidt. Porsche know their stuff about performance, so I doubt it will gain much in performance, they've been doing it longer than some numpty with a penchant for shiny tat.

If you'd had a vindaloo the night before it might affect combustion with strange gases going into the intakes.

They missed a trick there. Should've run some hoses from the dashboard air vents to the engine air intakes. Don't bother fitting turbos, just crank the fan speed up to maximum.

I think you're all being way too harsh on this. There's no suggestion that this is a finished project - it's probably just got air filters to move it around shows and they're yet to fab/fit a cover.

And let's remember one thing: some mad bd has managed to fit a 5.2L V10 in a Cayman! bow

Modest modification to an Audi Allroad here but significant enough to divide opinion.

Described in the classified ad as Wagoneer aesthetic and a playful nod to the luxury off-roaders or the past , I initially thought it was awful and then decided I rather liked it. But then my Dad had a Mercury station wagon when I was a kid in a similar colour scheme so maybe I am just being nostalgic.

I'd drive that. I think it's fun. smile
Always fancied getting some stickers made up for my Impreza wagon...Griswold stylee smile

There are so many things I should hate about that…. But I don’t? They had an idea and stuck to it.

Yet another one where they smooth / remove the front plate from the front bumper and then wang it blocking airflow to the radiator.
