Got a couple of tickets on the Rev Comps M8 Competition - looks mint and well specced.

Stunning Nova just launched on DCG.
Just seen that. God only knows what the owner who lovingly fettled it feels, knowing that within 24 hours of the auction end Kane from Rochdale will slam the thing it to the Armco, leaving it only good to be cubed!

Money. That is all. If they truly cherished the car they wouldn't have sold it to them, irrespective of what they offered.

Yup, don't get it (though, weirdly, I like seeing them at shows/'in the wild') - but then people don't 'get' what I like so I guess it's all good.

For those of us of a certain age / Max Power generation it's wonderful to see a survivor. They were being written off at a frightening rate several decades ago, it's a miracle any remain.

Attainable 'classic', basically, and one you could actually afford to run/keep for a show season or two. About as far removed from anything on sale these day too, which only increases the nostalgia.

See also Astra GTE, AX GT and so on. Basically anything remotely fun not subject to Ford tax/collectors status.

Going back to the ‘cruise scene’ days, many of these now modern classics would be getting ragged to within an inch of their lives, if you crash it or blow it up doesn’t matter go buy another as they were that cheap back then

I don't get the Nova thing either and I had one as my first car!

DCG G80 M3 seems to be selling slowly. Dare I say it... actually looks OK'ish in that colour.

I don't get it and it was also my first car = a J reg 1.2 merit. Absolute sack of sh*t but the ins was cheap(ish). Only other vauxhall I owned was an X reg Astra 1.6 SXI and that was also of a similar standard (head gasket went at 55k miles). Never again lol.

I had a 1.4 Sri, good suspension and exhaust, was really good fun.
Not much weight by today's standards and went well.
That one with the properly built XE engine will go like hell.

I've just sat and worked out (yea, sad, I know on a Friday evening) that I've spent £758.38 via Dream Car Giveaways in the past 2 years and won sweet fa.
On the other hand, my girlfriend won £20k with 7days. She'd bought one ticket for 79p and it was only the second time she'd ever entered laugh

I see levelup have a red R34 GTR

It's a bit barried so to speak

Wouldn’t touch it with yours. But I just don’t trust anything that site does.

Presumably its the one featured on OG this week especially as Jamie used them for "giving" away his previous 911 (and that got a lot of stick as kept getting extended):

That R34 seems to be a beast of a build but I for one would not want the upkeep but you can take £100k instead. Odds of 1:100k way to rich for me though.

Of course, Elite are now doing instant wins too.

First one £99x 999 tickets , £52k prize pot (tons of which is site credit.

One person has won the top two prizes and a load of smaller ones.

Clear to all future entrants that ALL of the good prizes are gone, so pretty much the best you could really win with a £99 gamble is £250 of site credit. Yet you watch , I guarantee more money will be sunk into it.
