Forget cars, it’s about winning a house now!

Maybe the car sites will start adding a house or two!
Does this site just seem like a knock-off omaze? No mention of how many tickets are available either.

I was in at a business yesterday for a meeting and the chap was telling me one of the lads in the workshop won a Audi R8 V8 and £8k towards running costs.

He's 22 and he uses it as his daily.. It was his first competition and in total he spend £30 - I would never be that lucky.

about 30 year ago I won a cheese strings competition so got a box of them, a hat and a tshirt. That's about it.

Elite did a few houses towards the end of lockdown if I remember correctly, they basically had a deal with a developer so you could pick a new build across 30 or so different sites around the country

Yes, there it is, in black and white, in easy to read terms and conditions that you agree to prior to entry.

The difference between Omaze and people like Tramway Path is that Omaze are a multi million company with a huge advertising budget who can afford to run what are effectively no reserve auctions. Tramway Path is run by a small family unit and guess what, they can't afford to risk a no reserve auction. How many people here would risk putting their expensive car in a binding no reserve auction?

It's completely transparent and Tramway Path actually have a very good record of achieving their sales target and awarding the house or the other main prize. Omaze understandably have a 100% record in awarding the property but still people moan that it's some sort of scam. Whilst taking part. rofl

Good spot. Still, no cap on tickets so your odds could be tiny!

No M8 win for me on Rev Comps last night but see they have a nice AMG GTR +£5k or £105k cash alt as well as a X3M up now. Will be having a punt on both of those especially as won some comment credit. Interestingly the GTR is (I think) their first foray into higher odds prizes so its 19999 tickets therefore a lower ticket price but also 5 runners up cash prizes £10k / £5k / 3 x £1k. I remember when they suggested different prize options and a lot of players were against it as their lower odds were what people liked. But 2200 tickets sold in 13hrs so lets see.

I don't play on Revcomps too often these days but the AMG has got my attention. Good idea to do the runner-up cash prizes too, I think that will attract the punters.

It's not my place to answer what can or can't be legal. Instead of bleating to random people on the internet why don't you contact one of the bodies that you think enforce the laws that you think are being broken? This moaning has been going on for over a year from what I can see. You and some other people seem to think gambling laws are being broken so complain to the GC or any other body you think should be stopping illegal activity.

There's no seem to not want to answer. You and a few others are the ones claiming illegality yet for reasons best known to yourselves you seem unwilling to write a simple email and post up the reply. Meanwhile, participating in something for gain that you claim is illegal whilst whinging about your free entries not being accepted. It would be hilarious if it wasn't such rank hypocrisy.
Just for fun, I have contacted them and will publish the reply. They aim to get back in touch within 20 days but I won't hold my breath. In the meantime, I will continue to buy tickets smile

If you tell me what you've written, do you want me to tell you what they are going to tell you? Odds on that? wink

Uff that GTR will getting a few tickets! Ive been laying low but that GTR is epic! Also the 600LT on 7days but not a fan of the 99p stuff.
I'll wait till the weekend before purchasing no doubt the other comp companies will have something interesting.

Aye. They are cracking looking cars in the flesh. Did an hour in a C63 at Mercedes Benz World and then did some passengers laps in a GTR Pro. I was thinking how much faster can it really be and it shocked me even in a straight line. Not sure I could ever get used to that uber long batmobile bonnet.
