Where can I read more about that Cosworth ?

I tried Googling DCG but nothing relevant popped up .

Looks like a big turbo car , has the rear badges and filler cap of a BT , also has 18" wheels possibly over some oversize discs to stop it properly .
Sounds pretty good too

Not keen on pops and bangs and the potential damage they might be doing to a fragile old Ford .

My one had a sneezy dump valve that was tolerable but the reliability or lack of was not tolerable .

Well I take it none of us won the Cossie ;(

I listened to the draw, the bloke who won had one ticket and bought it 10 minutes before the draw - That is crazy luck.

Also, the first number drawn hadn't sold. So both numbers pulled were primed for last minute purchasers.

I am surprised the Escort Cossie didn't sell out, or the M2 Comp, I guess Christmas is around the corner.
I watched the draw as well, both winners from Scotland!

A bit late to the party but I stumbled across free postal entries and it became a hobby in September 2019
2019; nothing
2020 was good; a bike and a watch (circa £12.5k)
2021 is not going so well; (£500 B&Q voucher)

It is interesting reading the comments on other peoples experiences; I had put Aspire on my bad list as not processing entries but it seems from here that they are actually good (so one to revisit)

Personally my % are around;
Rev Comps (85%)
DCG (95%)
7days (99%) - since they moved to mainly 99p draws and only accept 1st class my usage has dropped dramatically on these.
Nitrous Comps (95%)
Elite (<50% if I am lucky) usually anything over £5 - £10 gets 'lost' for me

For those that asked about LLF games; I am on 100% with them since they started.

Personally I only enter once per comp and reckon my current spending is around £600 a year. For those that allow 2nd class stamps (all but 7days) that is what I go for unless I think it will sell quick (like some of DCG)

This made me chuckle, I'd take a £500 B&Q voucher at this point. I'm somewhere between 1500-2000 individual comp entries now (stopped logging them for a while so not sure exactly) and I've won sweet FA!

Interesting, their T&Cs changed to state 1st class but I never bothered to actually try sending 2nd - good to know thumbup

Fair point, I suppose the year before spoilt me! I think it is because I also enter a fair few low odds (99 entries) lower value tech prizes (under £200) and have never won on those. It highlights that I should be greatful for what I have this year. The vouchers paid for kitchen cupboards & worktops so my mom got a new kitchen and I only had to pay for the doors and appliances.

Worth mentioning for those new to the postal entry game...last Christmas was essentially a complete write-off for me. Between slower post, Bank Holidays etc accepted entries dropped off a cliff.

I won't be looking at the sites between about December 12th and January 2nd.

Out of interest, anyone manage to get one in for the low odds BMW on Rev Comps tonight? Posted mine a week ago (and the Mini) and nothing, unusually for them.

the escort looks like it's on stilts - the Mustang is no interest to me being RHD, but that may appeal to some (hence my not being sure how I feel about it)

anyone had any luck with postals from Bear Competitions, Rkings or Storm competitions?
My son won a heavily modified AE86 a few weeks ago.
Single entry £5.Rkings.

It was a bit tense waiting for delivery, he convinced himself it was fake, but it arrived after two weeks due to them doing an event.

A mate of mine won an m3. sold it straight away for 33k. never shut up about it and bragged to everyone of all the things he was gonna buy. think he thought it would gain him clout. we barely see him anymore as most people have distanced themselves from him
