They still use the JCT600 plate, when I worked there in 2014 it was on a Maserati Quattroporte courtesy car/demo. I think they transfer it about as it's currently on a Cullinan.
They have a few " JCT " plates now some nice single digit which technically are worth more... but "JCT 600" must be priceless to them...

I used to live in Yeadon ( 60' to late 80's ) and the Porsche dealership on New Road side. I remember seeing the main man in a white 911 bearing that plate. I used to see him frequently at the the Aero Club at the airport and he had various car/plate combo's over the years as well as planes.

Isn’t AUD 1 owned by Smith Knight Fay Audi in Manchester?
Aha, my mistake if so (poor memory due to old age hehe)
I will keep an eye out for it around my area and see if its staying up around the NE region. Interesting......

Sure I have mentioned this before on this thread, but I have seen this local to my parents house in Croft in Warrington a lot over the years, it was on a Q8 approx 2 weeks ago, being as nosey as I could, at one point the best sales person would get the car for the week or the month apparently.

OK plate people, what's your thoughts on this.

Going on a Civic with a K20A2 engine (yes you have to be a bit geeky to understand it!)

I'm not into the whole number plate thing and so did not notice that I have Y100DDS on an 08 car.

A Spur's fan pointed it out to me in the supermarket car parksmile

I'm thinking I should put it on retention and return the car back to its original plate, which I think would make the car more appealing to a wider range of buyers.

Anyone got an idea as to value? I've put it through the online valuers but guessing their just robots.

I've seen a few short and presumably very early issues this week:

TM 1 on a Jeep Cherokee on the A9 in Perthshire
V 13 on an Audi A3 TDI in Glasgow
V 44 on a Saab 9-3 by Loch Lomond

Also saw SE11 COW on a livestock truck in Dumfries. hehe

Honestly? Probably not a lot. Plates start at £250 on the DVLA website and I can't imagine Y100 DDS being particularly desirable. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, really.

The previous owner obviously didn't think it was worth anything..? But you could pay your £80 to retain it
get it advertised and then sit and wait..and wait..and wait..! and then if you get an offer of £100 you'll have made a £20 profit..hehe
