Young Trory in her Mini T12ORY. And a guy with R G12EER on a BMW.

You won’t get any T12ORY or R G12EER votes on this board, even if she was a Pretty Woman! laugh

I saw something like four 2x4 plates in the space of about 30 minutes this weekend, which is a load more than usual!

Naturally I can't remember them now... rolleyes lol

Outside the Renault place on Dukes Park estate if I'm not mistaken? Always one of two nice cars outside there, Clio V6 etc., always a 'CL10 ***' plate as well.

On a GS

That plate's enormous waste of space and weird GB tag thing is driving me crazy lol

I'd cut it down to fit round the lettering (with the required border/background size, obviously) but I guess something larger on a bike might help inattentive morons spot you at least a whole second before they almost drive into you...
The GS is a tractor in motorcycling circles. The size of the plate is the absolute least of its problems! laugh

OXF 1 - Lexus ES. Does anyone have any info about the plate ? Does it have anything to do with Oxfordshire County Council ?
I don’t believe Oxfordshire County Council owns it. Oxford’s mayor has FC 1. OXF was a temporary series allocated by London for the Home Delivery Export Scheme which I believe allowed overseas purchasers to buy a uk made car here and use it for up to three months before exporting it. How OXF 1 survived I don’t know. Lots of OXF plates around Oxford but of the DVLA select issue type; I’ve never seen an original one. From 1968 to 1974 XF was issued by Torbay; many years ago my uncle had a Renault 6 registered OXF 884L. Wish I still had that (the car and the plate!).
