As Rob has posted on here before: AW Lymn have a fleet of silver rollers, all with small numbers and letters on the plates

This one last night. One a white one too, but apparently not the same car as it was registered in March this year, but this picture is from Auto Express in 2019.

Plus,

5 RAW - Audi Q5.

D16 MUD - Ford Ranger.

45 DAD - Ford Transit.

OXF 1 - Lexus ES. Does anyone have any info about the plate ? Does it have anything to do with Oxfordshire County Council ?
I don’t believe Oxfordshire County Council owns it. Oxford’s mayor has FC 1. OXF was a temporary series allocated by London for the Home Delivery Export Scheme which I believe allowed overseas purchasers to buy a uk made car here and use it for up to three months before exporting it. How OXF 1 survived I don’t know. Lots of OXF plates around Oxford but of the DVLA select issue type; I’ve never seen an original one. From 1968 to 1974 XF was issued by Torbay; many years ago my uncle had a Renault 6 registered OXF 884L. Wish I still had that (the car and the plate!).
Cool, thanks for the info. I figured it might have a bit of history to it.

I’d have expected a more lyrical comment about DEN 15E! laugh £17K + bits in the June 1998 Auction.

What are the rules/consesus about posting your own plates? Cheating, wait for a PHer to spot you out in the wild, or fair game?

We've a few that I would have thought would fit the thread, but seems a bit narcissistic to post your own..!
