Hey up, so cycle 2 work scheme says i have £10,000 limit to spend,
I dont think I'll be touching the full limit but i have been wondering about an e mtb, something to a)commute the 6ish miles to work, maybe the long way back home,
and b)support on some recreational trail riding.

I have been looking around, mainly evans cycles but with the current situation not really had a chance to jump out and have a ride and chat about what potential bikes there are.
I am looking at a budget of about £4000 max.

So any help, pictures, recommendations please guys. I bought my current cannondale mtb of the suggestions a few years ago a bike that serves me well even today.

Cheers.

Look at the "Who buys Electric Bikes" thread. Plenty of advice, opinion and comment there.
I have a Bergamont and love it. Never let me down. £4k will buy you all that you need IMHO. It seems like the sweetspot.

Vitus E-Sommet VR is a very good value option (10/10 MBR rated) and well within your budget - leaving enough for some nice pedals/spares
