Disappointed to find this isn't a post explaining custard, DXB335, frozen sausages, red bull cans, sleeping with one eye on the phone, Non-existent 944s, Ambiwlans etc etc
Now I've found the topic some of it can be found hereNewbie here - who thinks he knows everything
Welcome Scott, and good luck with the restoration! Why not start a Readers' Car thread so we can all follow your progress? https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...
Good morning to one and all.
It's great to be a part of the Pistonhead's family - so to speak.
Looking forward to reading the numerous interesting articles and commenting when the mood takes me.
Enjoyed reading the article about the latest M3 and 'old school' M5. Amazing how big cars have become; notwithstanding the price brand new. Why would anybody pay 70-80 grand for an M3 when you can acquire a classic M5 for as little as 20ish grand. Answers on a postcard.

Welcome to PH! Keep an eye out for our events in 2022, they're a great opportunity to meet PH members. Our December Sunday Service at Caffeine & Machine sold out within a few hours as it's our only event for this year, but there'll be plenty more coming next year.
Hi, I'm new on here...
I've been a car enthusiast all my life... Realised a couple of years ago that I also like making content documenting my cars and the experiences I have in them... Often with my son...
I'm not sure what you are/aren't allowed to share regarding links so will let anyone interested follow the link to my PH profile if interested in knowing more.
On my PH profile, you'll find a link to my YouTube channel and from there you can find my instagram and other social links if interested.
My current toys are an Audi R8 GT Spyder and a Nissan 370Z Nismo (both listed in my PH garage).
I've started a thread on Readers Rides for my Audi R8 GT Spyder here:
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
I'll follow up at some point with a thread on my 370Z Nismo.
Looking forward to reading and contributing!

Welcome to PH and lovely R8! We do allow YouTube embedding, as long as we feel like the member isn't just here trying to promote a monetised channel. So we like to see a good mix of written content, photos and video, for example.
If you want to embed a video on your Readers' Car thread, you can do so using this code .

Thanks Ben, that's reassuring. I've added a reply with a showcase clip of the car.If you want to embed a video on your Readers' Car thread, you can do so using this code .
If I want to get guidance on this in future, where is the best place to ask?
Best place to ask for guidance on posting rules etc is in the Website Feedback section:
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...
Feel free to start a new thread in there to ask your question. Ben (or another member of PH staff) or one of the moderators will usually be along and try to reply.

Welcome Richard, you're in the right place! I'd recommend reading our Vanquish buying guide here https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-buying-guides/...
If you've still got any questions unanswered, then ask for some advice in our Aston Martin forum here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...
And last but not least, find one for sale here! https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/aston-martin/vanqu...

hello to all Pistonheads and HNY!
I always thought that PH was an 'non American' car site and never really thought about joining it till now!
But I was looking into a flow bench build and found a very interesting thread on here indeed.
So I hope I can join in with all that's good here in the UK car World.
Best wishes from John
