Yes, I'm not too impressed by the roof collapsing so much.
Mt daughters Corsa survived much better when she rolled it.
In fairness, an Audi Q5 probably weighs more than the pressure exerted by a Corsa on it's own roof.

I keep going back to this and just thinking...how? Presumably there must have been no cars opposite and they drove straight across the car park at 20+ mph? Surely with the angle of driving down a normal row of cars you couldn't manage that...
Point load of a single tyre won’t have helped much either.

Point load of a single tyre wont carry the full Audi weight either though.
Still think that it looks quite poor.

I care not one toss about the loss of a modern VAG or McLaren. However, that appears to be an Omega GSi being flattened for lolz, there. I can only hope this outrageous act took place many years ago when they were considered expendable tank crush / banger racing / drift-yo fodder.

Argh! If I was 13, that would be most exciting thing since supermegarockettransformers. But all I see now is a smart looking and probably half decent Laguna getting pancaked. Probably a V6 too.

It has been going for a long time:

Looks like a Mk IV female to me. The car might be more difficult...

We watched an old boy in a merc reverse out of a parking space too far, right across the road and hit the bollard behind. He then got flustered, put the car into drive and stamped on the throttle. The car shot forward and launched over the bollard, flattening it allowing the car to launch into the tile store wall.

We helped the three OAPS out the car...

1908 surely. You can tell by the light cluster.
(This is how PH works isn't it?)

Yep, am surprised that nobody has suggested that the female tank might actually be a hermaphrodite because one cannot see the sponson on the other side, yet! (Pretty certain that it is not by the way, due to the caption on the photo - hermaphrodite tanks tended to be a Western Front field modification).

It will carry a disproportionately large amount though at the point in time where that wheel forces the vehicle upwards and therefore unloads other wheels. Otherwise it wouldn't have flipped over.

I'm making a big assumption here as I know bugger all about McLarens but is that not just aluminium panels on a carbon shell? If so, seems likely that it would be repaired rather than written off.

Thanks Jeff, I was kept awake last night, worrying about the current classification of damaged cars...

Gad-Westy. I will be honest, I was thinking the same , I thought they were a carbon shell/chassis, and I thought the problem with a carbon fibre shell is that once there is a crack in it, that is it. You need a new one! (well the damaged bit anyway). I am also guessing that needlessly large car might have done a little more than than damage the outer panels.
