To me some of these older Ferraris that have been posted are ugly.

The recent Ferraris have been the best looking.

Of all past Ferraris only the 355 and 288 were good looking.

The 458 Speciale and 488 Pista are to me the best looking cars Ferrari have made.

Perhaps you are an oldie and have the ugly classic car gene embedded in you. I personally think the Le-Mans Ferrari with those silly valleys/bumps on the front bonnet over the front wheels and extending to the front lights extremely repulsive. Porsche have a modern version of these Valleys and front lights and consequently look Fugly imo.

Also lets not even discuss long bonnet front engine Ferraris or estate looking Ferraris as these are just ugly.

As I've mentioned on here before, for me the last Ferrari I'd chuck my hard earned at, would be a 456 GTA/M in TdF blue, over parchment leather. Probably out of my reach, but if the metaphorical numbers ever came up... Then it would be time to ahem make progress back to Switzerland.

I dunno about ugly genes (eh ? ) but if you don't like a 250GTO , Lusso , SWB or 275GTB you might be in a minority.But chacun a son gout ...

Do you think a P4 is ugly too ?

The last Ferrari that genuinely made me go all gooey was the 360 Challenge Stradale.

I do like a lot of the cars that have appeared since then, but they don't make me feel the way a 360 CS makes me feel.

Yes that P4 is the car I meant.

Absolutely horrendous. Looks like a car suffering with cancer lumps.

Just look at the valleys/bumps on the front above the wheels. What are they even called? Atrocious things.

They peaked with the 355 IMO. Its a pretty car. The 360 and 430, nope.

Their new stuff is a little hit and miss. I don't like the GTC4Lussso or the 488, the F8 is better. The new Portofino looks nice from certain angles, but then looks too fussy from others. I actually think the Roma, in the right colour, is probably the nicest looking thing they make. Its got an elegance to it that much of the rest of the range, with their aggressive scoops and vents, just don't. If the Portofino didn't have those bonnet scoops, it'd be better looking.

They are moving with the times. Classic cars all look st to many of us non granddads.

Why do people think the e-type is one of the best looking cars. Ask anyone aged 40 and below and most will tell you how st an e-type looks. Most if not all classic cars look st.

Old Ferraris before the 355 look ugly. 360 and 430 were ugly too but after that they improved. The F8 Tributo looks superb.

Bad taste is not a matter of age because design history is cyclical not linear. It moves from vulgarity to elegance and back again.

For the past twenty years we have been going through another Edsel phase, which is excellent news, because it means the dawn of a new Ghibli phase is imminent.

Ghibli I, obviously, not Ghibli II or (bleargh) III.

You're Henry Ford , right ? 'History is bunk .' Ask yourself , in twenty years times , if you will dismiss an F8Tributo on the ground that , by then , it too will have become one of those 'st classic cars'.

I'm aged 40 or below and I think modern Ferraris are mostly vile looking things and the e-Type is lovely. In fact if I had to compile a list of the best looking 50 cars ever made, I don't think it would contain any which are younger than me.

For me the Ferrari's that I rate ugly would be the 550 and the F50.

I can't get on with the front end on the 550's and the F50 just reminds me of the 90's modified scene with it's front end and rear wing.

Yes but put a PROVA number plate on it and it suddenly becomes cool.
