Brighton?
couple of comments that it was Brighton not London no idea tbh, still a 20-30mph road
There's a lot of morons on social media.

It's Lambeth bridge London, the clue is the Houses of Parliament to the right and the obelisk as he turned onto it. Oh and there are no bridges over rivers in Brighton.

I've never seen that film. Shocking continuity error where a blue Chrysler 180 turns into a blue Morris Ital.

Poor sod, hopefully lesson learned.
Poor sod would have been one of the pedestrians or the cyclist, dont like to see anyone damaging their car but that was an inappropriate place to accelerate like that even if in the right driving mode.

These often get "talent" comments, there is talent in controlling it, but maybe also talent in not hoofing it in the first place, thats a pretty uncelebrated talent.

Really think as a country we should have more places where we can just let rip with masses of space to see what happens, track days sort of work but they dont like you drifting or cocking about, drift days are specifically about going sideways, kind of think we just need some vast expanses of concrete with roads painted on like a playground. Its very difficult to get the measure of quick cars on the road, somewhere to practice "Watch this" moments.

Was a different driver, he hit over 7 pedestrians knocking some off them off the bridge yet got off with just a short ban and a fine! Looks like he used the EU right to be forgotten to get the sentence purged from history.

Apart from the awful driving, why would he let his video get out to be published like this? You wonder how anyone this dim can afford a Ferrari in the first place.

In the twitter comments there is what appears to be a curious police officer wanting to contact the publisher, so Ferrari man may be about to learn about discretion on social media.

I'm someone who is OK for people to learn from mistakes if nobody is hurt. I can only put myself in the position of the cyclist and I'd be alright it happened next to me.

It's an error of judgement and the lad will be in a world of problems - financial and other.

Always baffles me that anyone with enough money can just get into a super car with no training needed. Compare that to a bike test.

Next to me is ok, but its a bit close to mushy leg time, I had a Z3M Coupe come sideways at me out of a junction, owner sawing at the wheel when riding once, it was a bit scary, the guy obviously saw the terror in my eyes and made the effort to turn round catch up and apoligise smile

I think mistakes are fine- I remember a 'near miss' with a U turning dustcart whose driver had not seen me on pedal bike- I anticipated what he was doing so it wasn't a problem. but he was very apologetic. But taking a risk like this- I mean how fast would he have been going on the bridge had he not lost it? 70mph, more? That's less forgiveable.

On that basis I wouldn't look at powerboat requirements.

That’s a ridiculous place that bridge to put one’s foot down, especially in the daylight hours.

I can only surmise someone would do that in such a situation to turn some heads.

Still, at least they achieved what they set out to do.

As said previously ESC probably off, but at the same time if your floor it in those conditions or simply don’t know how to drive a car like this properly then physics will dictate the outcome.

This is exactly the sort of guy who would floor the car whilst pulling out to overtake. No concept of how to handle (or respect) the power on tap.

Yes. Thats how Actuaries work. They reactively keep a spreadsheet of claims for the year and then increase next years premium for everyone.

What they should perhaps do is start modelling based on historic data to predict claims for the year smile

I was wondering about that too. Only restriction I can remember is that you are only allowed to ride certain bikes until you have minimum years of experience or possibly attained a minimum age (not sure if that is still the case). Is there something more I need to do/achieve before I can buy myself a Panigale (genuine question btw)?
