Another quick mention of LS400 cam belt at the dealer. My local (Reading) did my car for ~£650 earlier this year and, aside from a hope clamp needing nipping up afterwards, no issues. Compared to about £1k from a specialist, it seemed a pretty fair price.

(To clarify: the work was done by my local Lexus dealer. I'm not sure that the staff at The Bull have cam belt expertise, but they can do a good curry)

I’m umm-ing and ahh-ing; the face mask thing is a bit of a turn off I must admit but it’s not till June so who knows what the craic will be by then. That's if you agree to buy it in the first place; as there's clearly issues with it at that price and the mileage is all over the show!

I have a ticket for Sunday but I am in two minds. It's the mask-wearing outside which puts me off. I have until 29 May to request a refund if I choose, though it's only £15 to lose.
