I can relate to that. There aren't any current ones in the BMW range I would want either.

That (and budget limitations) are the reasons why although I'm still running them the newest I've had was from 2007 in 2010. I've currently got a 55 plate and a 56.

I got really lucky when I found this one because it's a manual with the sunroof, Bi-Xenons and the split/fold rear seat with the "ski-bag". Even if the colour isn't what I would have chosen.

Had the //M from the previous decade and replaced it in 2014 with another E39 which is still being used and the E34 was a 540i and lasted until around 2015...

For a spec like that I'd be willing to compromise! Xenons are my favourite thing about my own, although I like the fact my seats have adjustable bolsters too. It's a feature I've never seen on another one, even if split/folding rears would have made my life easier on a number of occasions. I've got nothing to compare with a sunroof though!

What colour would you have wanted? Mine's Monaco Blue.
