There is some great paint on here. I've always been partial to Ford Signal Orange.

That’s a great looking car in that shade of Orange. It was quite a rare shade and much better in my opinion than the lighter Orange that Ford offered and seemed to be more popular.

I’ve only ever owned 1 Orange Car and that was a 1979 Mirafiori Sport cool
Probably thinking of Vista Orange as the lighter orange Ford offered at the time, although I think that technically, Signal Orange replaced Vista.

The last of the three Mk.1 RS2000's I had was Vista Orange.......briefly....as having spent nearly a year trying to find one in that colour (rare on a Mk1 as only introduced for last 6 months of production) I owned it for just 4 weeks before some thieving scrote nicked it, never to be seen again.

Love some of the choices on here. Although this thread might as well be titled "how old are you", as the old guys post photos of classic Healeys and Triumphs, and the middle aged guys post photos of 1990s BMWs and Porsches.

I'm a fan of Audi Merlin Purple and BMW Maldives Blue, and I also like Renault's ubiquitous Desert Orange.

I think the pendulum of fashion is swinging away from grey and silver and back to bright colours.

I did my Ultima in BMW Montreal Blue 20 years ago.
It’ll need a repaint soon and I still can’t find a colour that looks better on it

BMW's Le Mans Blue. I had an E90 in that colour and it's always been my favourite. They've not made a blue as good since.
I need to stop going for Blue BMW's and try a different colour to be fair. biggrin

So many beautiful colours yet so few examples on the roads.

A real shame, but also not helped by the small palette available on new cars in my recent experience.

But also, I suppose, because buying a new car is often a joint decision. And the adventurous choice is ‘moderated’ by the other.

Same! thumbup

It was a great all round car I thought. I wasn't a massive fan of the ZF6 auto though, but it did give the car a lovely relaxed feel to be fair.

I nearly bought a 120d in Le Mans Blue with Lemon Dakota leather around 10 years ago. Ended up with a 325d in Silver with Grey cloth instead which wasn't anywhere near as visually exciting but probably a better car and cracking engine.

Le Mans blue did look great though.

Most darker shades of green too, solid or metallic. Ruf have made great use of some shades:

This is my new favourite colour I was thinking I'd want my next car in a shade of green and this is how I imagined it. (Might just be because it looks perfect on the Porsche)

My current car is Mercedes Mojave Silver Metallic with a Brown roof it has quite the gold tinge to it and is a nice colour if a little too safe for my liking. I wanted at the time and still think looks incredible the Mercedes Rubellite Red Metallic or their Emerald Green a really dark red or green, probably a nightmare to keep clean.
