I'm sure its just me... but...
It just seems a bit Emperor's new clothes? Compared to cars that have moved the game on (P1,918 and SF90) this just feels a bit er lazy?
Speculators wet dream, limited number, well beyond the means of anyone outside of the property portfolio set and challenging looks.
Think they nailed it with the Reventon, sometimes less is more

I remember reading an interesting article in Evo where they fitted sensors on the accelerator pedal of an MX5 and a McLaren P1 and then drove both cars over identical roads to see how much of the pedal’s travel they used. In the P1 they never used more than 20% (I seem to remember) whereas in the MX5 they used 100%. Point is, outside of a track, these cars are rather pointless.
Personally, if I were after thrills I’d rather have an Alpine or Ariel.

This is over the top to the point of absurdity, full on look-at-me drama, huge performance i.e. exactly what Lamborghini are meant to be. If you want functional, sensible or elegant go to Mclaren, Porsche or Ferrari. Lambos are supposed to make your jaw drop, not make you swoon.
I'd never have one personally but I'm glad they exist, it's just a shame it'll barely ever been seen and I sincerely hope the Aventador replacement is similarly bonkers.

I don't think it would be too difficult to put a manual in that either. They missed a trick I love the styling very F22 It just seems a bit Emperor's new clothes? Compared to cars that have moved the game on (P1,918 and SF90) this just feels a bit er lazy?

Seems like everyone complains about the endless procession of white good electric cars being released lately, Lamborghini release a naturally aspirated V12 supercar that looks like it was designed by an 8 year old (in a good way!) and it gets slated! I wouldn’t be seen dead in this even if I could afford it, but it would make me smile if I saw one

A bit embarrassing though when a white goods in plaid mode that costs 2.4million less beats you off the lights after all the attention you just got no?
A bit embarrassing though when a white goods in plaid mode that cost £137,000 more than a £400 1992 Volvo 940 Estate, is unable to fit a wardrobe in the back while said Volvo is happily driving home loaded up comfortably.McRors said:

It just shows that the MX5 is underpowered Personally, if I were after thrills I’d rather have an Alpine or Ariel.

“High end street theatre ... has everything beaten”
So a loud shouty car for folks in the “look at me” brigade. Have Lamborghini really come to the point where this is the most important element of their cars??
I’m struggling to think of a time when this wasn’t the key element of their cars?So a loud shouty car for folks in the “look at me” brigade. Have Lamborghini really come to the point where this is the most important element of their cars??
I’m not knocking it, they make the world a more interesting place. But to think the brand was once all classy, subtle and driver focussed and is now suddenly all about show stopping attention grabbing looks, is to miss the point of Lamborghini entirely.
IMO.
Unfortunately, they didn't really appeal to their market like the Countach did to its and the rest is history.

As useless as I think this Lambo is, buying a Tesla is automotive anaesthetic. Whilst matey in his Lambo is wondering how to make it spit flames, and the other guy is hoping his Volvo makes it through the next MOT, I’ll be in the C-Type replica feeling very smug indeed. Obviously the 2.35 million will be under the sofa T1berious said:

Which is precisely what Lamborghini has never, ever, been about. Muira, Countach, LM002 and everything else that followed was, for their time, always about the theatre - it has always been about showing off, being otherworldly and over the top.
No, "sometimes less is more" is absolutely the wrong phrase to use when describing this brand.
