I wish the bloody BBC etc could get more accurate with the weather! I was trying to plan to take the Corvette for its MOT on a dry day, but tomorrow is looking worse all the time!

The Z4 is booked in on Saturday for an MOT now the weather has improved. I spent some time over the Winter refreshing the front suspension, watch it fail on something at the rear!

It’s the initial startup that I’m putting off.
If they don’t start you’ve got an unwanted project on your list.

Yes, I'm also a bit worried about this. I've never owned a car that I've just left plugged in for 4 months without starting it......but it's a 2015 car so I'm hoping modern enough that I don't need to worry about anything.

That sounds fine at that age. What I have found is that it’s worth switching the charger off and on again from time to time.
It’s surprising the state they decide the battery is actually in after previously displaying a full charge.

I’ve been starting a particularly iffy starter every couple of weeks over the winter and the CTEK has been showing the battery in the green all the time.
A couple of days ago the battery gave out before the car would start.
When I unplugged/plugged the charger it decided the battery wasn’t too well actually!
So I’ve left it in ‘restore’ mode or whatever it is.

If that doesn’t work, I’ve got to tow the car backwards out of the garage to get to the battery.

Im beginning to wonder whether I need the hassle tbh.

Been out in the Exige with the roof off a few times already this month.

I used it to pick my girl up from school yesterday, and a number of her class mates came running over staring / pointing at the Exige. One of her classmate shouted "Mummy, can we buy a new car like this? smile I guess the kids enjoyed seeing something different from the usual sea of 4x4's in the car park.

Hmmmm that's probably a good idea, and takes 2 seconds to do. Shame I'm now one day before actually needing to start it rofl

I bought this little beauty a few weeks ago to drive all year round. The problem is it’s in such lovely condition and I’ve sort of fallen for it so it’s now turned into a second summer car. Just as the family predicted. I hate being so predictable!

Nice to see people beginning to get their motors out.

I bought this in December and it has sat in the garage until last weekend where I finally got to take it out on its first drive. Roll on the better weather and here's to some great adventures for all :-)

Great shout - these are brilliant value at the moment.

Is that your Atom lurking in the background?

Waiting for April 1st, hate paying the £580 tax, needs an MOT too actually.

Bloody window jet nozzles stopped working, again, so will fix them and assuming it pass no issues.

Taxed at the start of March. Looking forward to a bit more action than last year.

I've just taxed mine to avoid the increase on 1st April. Paid £330 for the year instead of £600 it will be after 1st April, even though car won't move until June I should imagine.

Whoaaaaaa, what have I missed? Is road tax shooting up in April?? Should I be taxing mine before then?!

Oooh yeah, loving the colour on yours. Techno Violet and Sunflowers - the perfect combo.

Can't wait to take mine for a blast again this summer. I feel like I've neglected her for too long.

Car started immediately after 4 months sitting doing nothing. Don't know what I was worried about!

Got it out for a run a couple of weeks ago . first since November

Tyres were about half the pressure they should be but other than that , very well behaved.

Even got the roof down!
