I'd like to bring someone from Poland to work on a project for me in construction. He's worked for me before under CIS.

Before the end of last year he applied and received settled status. He's currently living in Poland.

He thinks that he is able to come back for a few months and work, and go back. IS that right? Or does settled status only allow him to work if he is fully living in the UK?
