Had this in my old CLS (219) worked treat and looks quite original.
Anyone know if these work in a W211?
I don't, but there is a dedicated part a2116800014

And old-school V8 Rangie, currently within thread, looks to have had a fair bit done to it. I love these - wish I'd never sold my old one. frown

I bet that will end up being sold for £8k+
If that stays within thread (and meets reserve) then it's Lemony McLemon.

The classic x308 engine issues - it occasionally belched smoke on startup, and felt a bit down on power.

I might go back to Lexus, even though they have 1% of the character of the old jags.

I should be collecting the 190 in a couple of weeks.

A bit harsh, old boy. The Lexus might have 1% of the character, although I think they are every bit as interesting in their own way, but one thing you can be sure of with a Lexus is that your engine won't st itself. Twice in your case!

I miss mine already.

Looked at that without me reading glasses and thought it was a pair of binoculars

That's not how barges work; it could be a Lemon and still sell for £10k, but it could also be a genuine motor and remain perpetually unsold.

The fun of the barge.

Audi A8 D2 6.0 w12

Very rare - I don't call seeing one for sale before.
This example isn't the best...horrible front end conversion AND engine knock; but it comes with most of the parts to convert the front to normal D2 spec. The engine..I'm not sure.
Would need to swallow and crush up and snort some brave pills..but what a machine..

I love my broken Audis, but that’s a step too far for me.

Ideally the purchaser should crush up the brave pill as stated, but cook it up and inject it straight into their veins.

I’m oot.

Lexus have a different character, it's almost the difference between the mate who is a right laugh, hugely entertaining but completely unreliable and the one you hardly see, but always know is there and who will have your back at the drop of any hat at a seconds notice no questions asked.

Good analogy biggbn.

In female terms, Lexus is the studious girl next door, compared to the blousy skank working behind the bar. Both have their time and place, but one offers a less stressful life.

I obviously like a bit of skank!

If only there was a big v8 4 door with the reliability of Lexus but the character of the jag…

The chocolate engines are somewhat inconvenient.

Perhaps I should just go all in and get an XJR?

The binoculars/CLS cup holder won’t work in a 211. BM links to the correct version, which pops up from a stowage box, but it’s really designed for LHD cars and proffers your drink right where it obstructs the steering wheel.

The answer is X350, not as pretty as the X308 mind.
