Hmm fair enough nobody wants a free Bentley for the weekend. I guess I'll just have it transported on a flatbed instead. This is a genuine post for someone who is already planning a journey to that region.

Thanks anyway.
I actually believe you and recall a post from a few years ago where a member wanted to swap something quite sexy for something more functional for a period of time which worked out well for both parties, although Im a bit vague on what it was. Related to a ski trip maybe???????

Thing is with travel restricted Id be worried a Bentayga would score an automatic cavity search going through customs without good reason, although the rest of the trip would be a lot of fun and in other times Id have at least considered it without the mandated isolation and PCR tests for each leg of the trip

Good luck OP

First post in years and it's asking for a total stranger to drive a £150,000 car on a very long journey?

Does anyone want to take my modified McLaren 720S to the 'ring for me so i can fly there by private jet, do a 6 minute 30 lap and then you drive it home for me whilst i fly back?

600+ km on the motorway doesn't excite me much.

And an overpriced Audi Q7 does?

Yes and yes to me smile

Don't know if it sounds weird - I'd happily drive most things anywhere. I like driving.

OP, I work for a company that deals in vehicle movement.

I work on the HGV side of it, if you're interested, drop me a PM and I'll give you the details to the car transport side.

There has to be an easier way. Couldn't OP just cover his eyes when walking up to it? Or set off at night?

What a stupid idea...

Take your modified McLaren 720S to the ring, fly me there by private jet, I do a 6 minute 30 lap and then you can drive it home (and fly me home by private jet)

Sounds much better to me biggrin

That was Harry Flashman, he swapped a Range Rover for an E63 Shooting brake for the Ski season.
Worked out well for both parties.
But he is a long time poster and well known in these parts. He is also a fantastic skier!

hehe

If this thread isn't an advertisement for a Bentayga, I don't know what is.

Perhaps a silly question but do you not have family or friends who could help?
I tried to do the same last year to get my Aston brought down to Southern Spain. Had very few interested. Likewise offered it to various mates to keep it used regularly and no joy either. OK, so its no Bentayga but still thought it might garner some interest but seems not.

I don't understand what the point was of putting this thread up and then, when I'd said I'd do it and asked for information the OP just goes quiet.

What a waste of time.
