FFS. My black W204 C63 puts me squarely in these brackets. Except for the fact its standard, well looked after and I look more like a gangland enforcer from some Guy Richie film. biggrin

3 Series bmw's are the weapon of choice for scroats here. I live in Aberdeen and the amount of high power German machinery being driven by young lads is unbelievable. Fair play to them but I dont fancy the £400 p/m pcp whilst still living with mum and dad.

I either own or would like to own some of the cars mentioned here.

Perhaps need to have a quiet word with myself.
I have also owned many on the list…. Reality is most are great cars. I actually appreciate seeing them around…. Better than a boring suv or EV.
Nothing to feel bad about, pretty much every car with a bit of performance goes through a period of attracting the wrong sort of owner.

He also says "in a foreign car"... Presumably every current model that isn't made by Morgan, McLaren, Caterham, Ariel, and the very low volume outfits like Eagle, Ultima and Berkeley.

TBH I think any of those is "totally peng" and outclasses my "German", and when he says "foreign car" I'd imagine he isn't thinking about impressing da laydeez with a base-model Peugeot.

Seems to be tractors or logging trucks in the Scottish Borders.
I was going to suggest Ford Rangers with light bars but yes, I'll agree with that

What is the definition of a rude boy here? how can we tell someone is a rude boy by them driving past in a car?

Am i looking for a certain skin tone here or are they wearing a certain type of clothing?

A lot of stereotyping in this thread.

So because they don’t look like you they must be gangster types, Ali Gs and the rest??

In summary:
Seat so low and tilted back that it impedes visibility and control.
One hand on the wheel, arm fully outstretched.
Music choice is a depressingly bored sounding person on auto-tune
Clouds of vape coming out the window
Often smell of weed
Often has a snap/crackle/pop map

It's up there in various posts (I added the music one).

Why do you assume people judge other people on their skin tone and clothing? Are you hinting at your own prejudices?

I am in Devon - our scrotes are poorer.. so it's still 1 series beemers and older stuff like STs and type Rs
A few year ago i had the pleasure of a visit to the Fendt factory at Marktoberdorf, and was told that some of their buyers specified extra chrome, kept their tractor spotlessly clean and drove them out to bars for pleasure. A bit weird, but also, why not?

Slammed S3s, almost always black, with dark tints and huge exhausts

Smoky, badly remapped E60 diesels with the M stripes on the grille slats

Also noticing a change in the demographic of C63 drivers. Increasingly seem to be driven aggressively and badly by shaven headed, tattooed, and very angry looking people in vests.

Gangster types love German whips. It makes them look sofisticayted. Think Merc has more of an "upmarket" image than BMW

Lots of C63's round my way as well, SE London. Plenty blacked out Range Rovers as well.
"in a german"...

I mean this genuinely; is that a parody or real..?
What you driving now? I’m blinging in a german.

Weapon of choice in Derby for the pondland mafiosi is indeed the C63 - generally driven in 1st or 2nd in short "blap" "blap" bursts.

I resemble that remark! Resting bh face, shaven head, tattoos, vest - obviously I need to get aggressive behind the wheel? biggrin

I’m so far detached from street vocabulary I had no idea what this thread was about, hence the question.

I can’t say I see many people with your description driving around in hot cars like c63s and SVR’s to be honest

I've got red jumpers, yellow jumpers, blue jumpers, I've got every colour jumper. I'm spoiled for choice!

The guy with the hat seems decent from the sound of things, and seems like they're trying hard to fit an image rather than actually living the thug life.
