So I've removed my rear mech to place it on to the new frame and discovered that the rear mech is a direct mount and won't fit my new frame without an adaptor.

It's missing a b link?

Any experiences?

Will a wolftooth Goatlink work?!

This could be me not riding this weekend frown

GRX. I ordered a wolftooth and can confirm that it does work

Ah that's what I was going to suggest!

I've got the same setup, you might want to reduce the clutch slightly with the new link IIRC.
