Tesco today was 143.9 for Momentum 99. 95 was 138.9, still the cheapest locally by far.
That is a really good price. I can't get Momentum any cheaper than 151.9 where I am.
I filled up last week some time at 154.9. I will probably need to refuel next weekend so be interesting to see what it is.
I just checked petrol prices app and it’s reporting a further 2p drop on 95 to 136.9. I am wondering if Momentum is also 2p cheaper. I’m passing tomorrow so will have a look.

Interesting considering my mums local Tesco is at least 7p more expensive on everything than my local. She’s about 50 minutes from me.

Well, I've just topped up with VPower in Glastonbury and was charged 168.9p for the pleasure. Glad to be supporting the struggling oil companies on this wet Friday..

Just put some in at my local Tesco (Bishop Auckland) at £1.44, they've at least kept the 7p price difference which makes them cheaper than the Sainsburys over the road, albeit by only 1p on their e5 (whose price difference has risen to 10p a litre).

Sainsburys isn't 99RON though.

My Tesco's didn't have any super when I went twice this week, so had to slum it with Sainsburys. biggrin

I know but when it's all you can get or when the price difference is high enough to make you wince... smile Around my way it's one or the other, the only other super is 97 as well (Jet/Texaco, if they have it any way) and is so far out of the way as to be meaningless.

I could get it at work but those poor sods are paying £1.45 for boggo 95 (so now two pence more than what I paid this morning for 99) and I refuse to pay the thick end of twenty pence a litre extra through there, so I'll slum it with Sainsburys when I need to wink .

At my local Tesco in Chesterfield:

E5 Momentum Super Unleaded 148.9p.

E10 Unleaded 141.9p.

I noticed that some E10 pumps were closed as they were in the nearby Sainsbury's.

Yes however the price of 4* and E5 seem to be identical locally here in Bucks.

I'm a regular Tesco user and they have a standard 7p uplift from 95 to their 99.

It had dropped to £1.50.9 here in Aylesbury at Tesco, but it is going up again.
Apparently the price increases are to do with a deal between the UAE etc and China for them to buy fuel in Yen which has pushed the price up.

Shell certainly know how to charge. Their standard fuel is usually not TOO much more than Tesco, but their Vpower is always very expensive.

I filled up with Tesco Momentum a week ago at £1.479 per litre.

Had a day out yesterday and needed to refill to get home. Pulled into an Esso and their Synergy was £1.699 a litre eek

Just put in enough to get me back to the Tesco I'd pass on my way home, and Momentum had gone up to £1.559. frown

I thought oil prices had been dropping?

No

They hit a floor around 70 and stayed there for 8 or 9 weeks. Since they have been rising to around 84 now. Rising each of the last 6 weeks.
