Put the air con on auto and just set the temp on the buttons on the dash - it's the best ventilation I've ever had on a car despite being 20 years old - the swinging vents are awesome.I have to say, I really like two features which are new to me on the LS430.

Yep I'm not sure how complex it is on the 430 to adjust the fan speed but on the 460 it's a case of pressing the "climate" button beside the screen and then just pressing the screen to adjust the fan speed. Although if you want to adjust either the window/driver/footwell and it's on to adjust one of the others then you'll need to press the screen twice (one to tell it which part of the cabin, and another to change the speed). But as said, I just leave it to auto.
The 190 and w124 totally nail it in my view by having a slider in the first case and a knob in the second.I don’t want to use a screen for such basic functionality! So annoying!
