Ferrari California - folding hardtop with V8. It's supposed to be the girls' Ferrari, but it sounds like a great combo to me.

The poor lamb has spent so much on the car she appears unable to afford a brassiere. I might offer a contribution of some sort.

One of your old ones? Aren’t they a touch baggy by now and the grey wouldn’t match that outfit of hers wink

Well SOTW is a petrol, I inherited one of those a while back, its been in France for a few years. It is RHD but on Fr plates, and it came back here where my eldest (the usually responsible one) realised speeding fines didn't arrive on hisdoormat, but it went back to many a Brits favourite retirement home of 87400. You don't need much money to live there, or, strictly, much French, if you really want that. Although you can fully integrate if you wish. Nice weather, great food, good driving roads, but not much beach or mountain. Its not flash. Plenty of people in the Fr sub forum live there or thereabouts. Try Leggett if you fancy seeing what a small amount of cash can get you.

Mine is a 530i Sport in carbon Black (or dark blue) saloon with what seems to be basically no options. Maybe it has the bigger nav, but that might have been standard. The leather is nice. Again not sure if stock. My fil bought it new just at the point where he was told to stop driving, which seemed like one of those denials of reality. It sat on his drive under pine trees for a few years, a cat lived on the bonnet so it's scratched to hell, and all the drains were blocked, so it looked sheddy despite having covered about 5k when I got it. It sounds OK with the straight 6, but runs out of puff fairly quickly, even in sport mode. No real surprise given the girth. It needed a battery, and coding it was a pain in semi rural France, one of many reasons why BMW can eff off tbh. Exciting? Nope. Recommended? It falls under the "OK" category. Maybe I would have cared more if it was a practical estate, I don't think it even has folding rear seats, but can't remember. You probably had to pay more for that. He traded a Champagne II E39 for it for which they gave naff all, such a shame.

I assume the dervs got mega mpg despite the bits that break, so can see why council types like their running costs and the badge they still think is flash.

that c124 is lovely!

talking about rare saloons.. grs204 Toyota Crown with toms/modelista supercharger kit - around 360bhp and the only one in UK. They're rare in japan and were silly expensive when new! if I recall correctly around 80k? Yes the wheels are AWFUL but that's an easy fix.

check the speakers/tweeters next to headrests!

That's not a bad price in the current climate. Do I spy heated orthopaedic seats? Silver over black is boring but I guess we have been spoilt by the lovely colours of r129's recent purchase.
