I'm surprised at the response on here. A mega rare, carbon bodied, sequential boxed, lightweight, 400bhp 2 door updated Subaru? I don't see the downsides!
Let' s see what they come up with and a price and how that compares to a nice rebuilt 2 door 2l/2.1/2.2/2.35 with a manual box.I know what it costs and it was pretty much what I thought it would be, although the high figure of the price bracket . Not sure I can divulge the number, but its clearly a big one but less than half a million.

It's surely going to be in the hundreds of thousands - I'm guessing at least 200k.
I'd guess more like 400. With only 25 of them I bet they've sold most already. Nice to see these sort of things still being built / created tbh - even though i know there's no chance of ever affording one

I see that Girardo and co are the selling agents. Also they’re saying it can be a 6 speed manual if requested. I’ll be honest, this excites me more than any super car. I loved my Impreza. Had it for 6 years and did mega miles in it.
That’ll have increased the price by at least 20% then Makes me purr.
I'll be holding onto my Prodrive WRX for a while longer as I feel the love may filter down into the older cars with that 'Prodrive' badge on the back.
Love mine and what Prodrive did, sadly I won't be on this ride. Why not make more? These are just going into collections. Nobody will get near them.
Make 1000 of them.......

I hear its 460k plus VAT .... 552k
IF that is the price, it’ll need to be VERY special indeed. Carbon everything when it comes to body, an interior that bears little or no relation to the original, Ohlins, Exe-TC or similar suspension, Inconel/titanium exhaust, custom Alcon, AP or Brembo brakes with carbon/ceramic option, styling that more accurately apes that of the WRC cars, some trick Speedline or OZ magnesium wheels, a Mil spec wiring loom with PDM, an engine build worthy of a WRC car, and weighing no more than 1200kg.borat52 said:

Not a comparison though, is it? This isn't aimed at people that just want a modified Impreza, it's aimed at people that want the ultimate expression of an Impreza, built by the people that built the WRC cars.I was once parked at a meet in Stirling next to a 22b that had the registration 22b. I'm sure I over heard the owner saying he had just purchased the car and the number plate was going back to the previous owner as he wanted the same amount for the plate as the car.
I think Andy Forrest still has his uk 22b tucked away.

I wouldn't have thought so. 18's were really as big as you'd go, 17's were the sweet spot for me.
Very much so. 18s look very big on the old GC8 cars - anything bigger will look silly.originals said:
I guessed right.
