Anybody else watching this? Looks like he has his work cut out for him!

Great colour/interior combo though.

Yes, I have just subscribed to this channel.

Only the Cerbera really interests me but I hope it all ends well.

I’ve really been enjoying this and have learned a few things - it’s the only detailed tear-down I’ve seen for a Cerb, although it does seem really daunting.
He’s an endearing chap and the camerawork is decent enough, so it’s easy and thoroughly interesting viewing.

Good find
Rusty chassis

Edit: Just watched the third, mice chewed wiring, dodgy earths...

I honestly could have written the same, a really likable chap, has done some great work already, and importantly for me (as a viewer), none of the dramatisation/theatrics that plague YT.

Really wish him well, I imagine he's reading these forums, and hopefully he has http://tvr-cerbera.co.uk/ bookmarked - best site ever!

I have really enjoyed this one as well.
The Cerb owners on this forum are so skilled and capable (yes, you Paul), that it’s refreshing to see someone who is feeling their way around:

Hahah
I’m jealous of his Type R!

Have to say, I was really wincing when he raised the body from the wheel arches - but the shells really are strong.

His open, honest, and comprehensive approach to it all is so refreshing.

I can't begin to imagine how many other similar problems get brushed over on other car restoration TV programs in a matter of seconds.

I've really enjoyed the first 3 videos. If the guy doing them is reading this, I'd like to congratulate him on the buy and pass on the message that the content is great so far. Really interesting process and if he really does decide to document every part of the restoration process, it'll become an invaluable tool for like minded cerb owners.
I can sympathise with what's been produced so far, I had nothing but problems with electrics in my mk1 cerb including immobiliser and alarm issues. It looks like this car was at least kept somewhere dry, moisture ingress was a huge problem with my mine; I think it spent a lot of its life outside in the damp. All I can say is, if you're going through the wiring 1) get it working and 2) make sure it stays dry in the long run!

To be fair I thought he'd lifted from the outriggers? He even went on to explain that one or two were so rotten he thought it might collapse on the ramp?
I'd be really interested to see the state of the chassis when he's got the body off, see what state it's in where the eye can't see.

I was referring to the Tuscan body lift video.
Sounds like you’re talking about the salvage Cerbera.
However, if you watch the Tuscan body lift video where the outriggers are finally revealed, I’m betting the Cerbera ones will look very similar, if not a bit worse.

Only seen the first two episodes but signed up.
Agree with you all (almost).

Like his approach - reminds me of Me, 17 years ago !
BUT
I have to ask, if you were him, wouldn't you drain and replace the engine's oil before you started randomly pressing possible ignition buttons ?

Biggest feeling is my "Thanks " in knowing that his is the same year as mine and mine is in such better nick.
Don't think it was a barnfind - I think it has been strapped to the Giant's Causeway for most of its life !

Just makes me so grateful for (Whomever you believe in) guiding m to find my Baby, 17 years ago thumbup

Anyone know how to contribute to his site ?
He just needs to be pointed here laugh

Ta !

Yeah, a tough situation to deal with. I hope that Dean can keep it going. A new loom might be the only option. It would be great to see this car back on the road.

I'm not looking forward to seeing the chassis in all its glory.
