This looks the absolute fkin' business. LOVE it.

The price is clearly mental but I still love it.

Has it got a bright switch?
If it hasn’t got a bright switch I’m not interested.
Ssssh, don't tell anyone about that, it's the most special of special features.

19 inch rims look too big.
Gold 17's (if they'll fit over the brakes) will look better.

Moot point as I can't afford it.
Won’t fit. 330mm is about the most you will get under 17s, 360mm for 18s so this has to be on the huge wheels.

It's utterly wonderful but the price is completely bent. SMH.

You could build something that looks and drives very similar for about £50k. That's £410,000 left over to make it look pretty and add a bit more lightness. I can't wait to see where the money has gone.
Totally bespoke, hand built by some of the best Motorsport techs in the world, almost ‘one off’ parts, billet uprights, Motorsport grade sequential, carbon all over it.

It was always going to be this kind of money, and no, 50 grand isn’t going to give you a similar experience.

+1. This. All of this.

And just to add, frankly what (realistically) was really everyone expecting? The outraged ow'much brigade are getting a bit tiresome now.

It's only the same price as a couple of mint 22Bs these days. And how much did an original WRC Prodrive Impreza cost new back in the day? Probably about the same as this with inflation.

Right?! It’s always some clueless boomer who thinks that hand built engines by people who have been building that specific type of engine for REALLY demanding applications for years are cheap as chips, or that new sequential gearboxes can be picked up for pennies.

Get a f**king clue. You’d think this was a website of people of actually knew about this sort of stuff.

I'm in the camp of no, £50k won't give you a similar thing... but similar experience? Yes 90% of it for 1/10 of the price

Reading through all that, I was damn near drooling, as it all sounded utterly divine.

Then got to the 'the dashboard is said to feature a full-width high-definition multi-page display', and I kinda cringed a little bit, getting terrible visions of the interior of a new Golf.

And then I got to the price.........

Ahhhh well..... I guess it's not for me then!!

nobody would like to admit it but enthusiasts turning their back and complaining about the price on these huge figure products they should be enjoying is them experiencing and realising a little bit of classical wealth inequality

£550k is a massive slap in the face reality check. the consistent rejection you see on here is quite telling

If I was a multi millionare, AND a huge rally fan AND a huge Subaru fan, I would get one actually raced, an actual Impreza, that Mcrae had sat in.

As we are talking silly money either way, I would rather spend a little more of my silly money and get something actually raced that made the marque great.

£460,000 plus VAT (that should help the country get out of the hole that it's in)

If you had that amount in front of you in £50 notes you couldn't count it in 5 minutes !!

It does seem an awful lot of money.

Lack of gold wheels means I'm not going to bother ordering one.

The price would also put me off a bit too..
Assuming the price isn’t a complete no then?

I will sort you some gold wheels for one percent of the asking price…., inc valves/tyres and genuine Oxfordshire air.

PayPal friends and family or cash up front? biggrin
That’s a good offer to be fair. You should take it.

And I’ll only add 0.5% of asking price for my advisory services. Plus VAT, obviously.
