Ha ha, no I won't look back at this, ever.

I meant the exterior, I don't understand how people let them (and all the others) get away with putting matt black plastic crap around the wheel arches, bumpers and sills on a car that's nearly £40k.
I kind of understand what you're saying from a value perception point of view. It would be nicer if the trim was actually gloss black. But then again whenever I see a MINI with painted trim, I feel it looks weird. I actually quite like the black trim on my JCW although it needs a gtechniq treatment to stay black for more than 23 seconds...
The styling department do this to take away/break it up from the bulky sides and overhangs, they dont look right colour coded.
Regarding the Clubman, to me its beyond ugly although the interior is quite nice. If i wanted something this size it would be a generic but well spec'd Golf. Leave Minis as Minis, maybe if they called it the Maxi I wouldnt have been so harsh!

Still love mine. I will be keeping it and will refresh the engine etc, even though my eye occasionally wanders to other vehicles.

My Wife has had a late 2018 well specified F54 Cooper Clubman since 2020.

Whilst I personally wanted the Cooper S in 3 Door form she really liked the Clubman. It drives really nicely in Manual Form although I agree with some of the comments that it’s not that fast. The 3 cylinder engine whilst torquey lacks top end punch. I don’t suppose she really notices this.

I do appreciate the practically, as we often use it for weekends away and loading small bags and cases is really easy with the twin doors. I for one will be sad to see the demise of the Clubman.

We've just picked up a F54 Clubman Cooper for my OH to go alongside my F56 Cooper and R50. Only got it yesterday but loving it so far. We love Minis and I think it's sad that the Clubman will be replaced by another SUV.

I had a JCW Clubman as a loan car for earlier this week. At the end of the three days I was still asking myself what it is for.

And ye gods, it's fugly...

Hmmm, I was born in 1969 and love (proper) Minis. I have fond memories of the school run in my Mum's original Clubman (minus seatbelts of course) until rust and woodworm got the better of it. That said, no amount of fond memories would make me fork out an extra £3k (let alone the base £34k) for the steaming pile that this car is. Yet another indication that BMW has sadly lost the plot.
I don’t find it a “stinking pile” although it is bloated, but those seats look lovely. Where I do agree is that the price is really taking the proverbial!

I ran an F54 2.0 Cooper D for 12 months and 30,000 miles, it was very good but I hated the rear doors. Now run a F55 Cooper S and handles a lot better.
