Is this retribution from the PH team for all the 'mapped 330d' comments from years gone by, or am I due a scurrying Psittacine?

Prefer this to a Singer in all honesty. The Singer just looks a bit much like a concours car, and Theon looks to have pretty much all those good points, but a bit more useable, and more obtainable. Love it!

Seeing this reminds me of a trip to the auto sports show i think it was in 2006 & their was a company ( forgot their name now) who took your donor 964 or SC & converted it into a 964 RS replica. The car they had on the stand was a truly fantastic recreation. I enquired about the price & it was around the £45K plus donor car a lot of money back then but not crazily so.
I was tempted to get rid of my 996 & go down that route but chickened outbanghead.
Soooooo wish id gone for it now. If any company could offer that package now for under £100K they would be a queue all around the NEC.
Was it PS design because yes I recall the cost was similar to a new 911 rather than a new 911 and a house

Its is achingly lovely but saw the title and can pretty much guess what all these resto mod 911s will look like, seems like there are loads of them but in reality it will actually be tiny numbers globally.

But then, I cant really think of anything better I would do with a 964 to be fair.

Its kind of ecologically sound in a way, as its re purposing older cars rather than building new, I like that idea.

Live those rear seats. Always though the 928 bolsters were Milenium Falcon inspired and now I can combined it with a 911 that looks stunning…

Behold: Yet ANOTHER resto-modded 911. At this rate, there will be more resto-modded 911's than originals on the road.

Can not one of these outfits do something original at all: Porker 928 if you wish to stay in the stable? How about a Fezza Mondial, as if there is a car out there that is in desperate need of an almighty makeover - it's that thing. There are a few Pantera refugees out there could do with a bit of fettling (Ring Brothers have shown it can be done), and if Jonny Smith can have a go at an Allegro, SURELY someone could have a crack at a Maxi...... just for the sheer hell of it (imagining a Maxi outperforming an M-car..... we already know there are enough people out there with more money than sense if they're buying XM's!).

Hehehe!!

Lovely, but clearly a Singer rip-off. It is a bit of a tired, unoriginal idea now.

Indeed. It’s like the 911 is the only car worthy of a luxo-resto.
Seems like money and imagination don’t always go together.

911 restomods are certainly getting a bit cliched, but I do like the looks and spec of this one. Given how much some of them cost, it seems almost reasonably priced too (albeit still an order of magnitude out of my price range!).

Well, it provided my first laugh of the day.
Maybe all threads need to start with “behold”?

Its like groundhog day, they all look the same, all claim to be the same, are being coveted and not driven ... I'm bored of them

That looks gorgeous and I would happily give that garage room.

Probably house room and even bed room if it means I can have one!

Achingly lovely, a restrained colour and interior, without the bulges of later 911's. That really is a thing of beauty.

1150kg? Impressively lightweight that, whilst not being stripped out/compromised. Hopefully its cheap enough to be actually used as a car.

Everytime I see the price of a new 911 restored...it makes a used McLaren 12C at £55-65K seem like a bargain.

ooooh, love it, I like the details as well.

the ducktail not so strait-up, give's it more a racy flow look.

but also the console with that stick and so on, looks good, different.

also the fron luggage place, looks very well, also different then others, good and a clean look.

but also the rear seats if you still want those, this looks way better then what Porsche at the time dit, great work.

I dare say Theon would build you a 964 with the engine build, suspension and interior mods. Wide body would be nice too!
