And your opinion makes you relevant I suppose?
I expected what I said would rattle somebody's cage, so you have not disappointed. I can only assume that you agree with the ridiculous opinion that it is too heavy...and probably want to see a manual option as well.
I realise I will probably have further rattled your cage now and also ruffled your feathers.

The design seems a little "busy" from some angles...but who am I kidding? I'd buy one at the drop of a hat if I could. It's a wonderful thing, even better if they do a green one
I think that they have deliberately designed it that way, so that Lego can make an accurate model of it mat205125 said:

The simple fact is anybody who actually buys this car will highly likely not give a flying fk about the weight.
It is only the armchair critics that will probably never even see one that seem to, or possibly they are just trying to make themselves sound relevant.
That's a great example of a circular argument. The buyers of a heavy car aren't worried about weight. It is only the armchair critics that will probably never even see one that seem to, or possibly they are just trying to make themselves sound relevant.
There are plenty of supercar buyers (not just armchair critics) for whom weight (or rather the lack of it) is a key criterion, and who choose to buy something other than a V12 Lamborghini for precisely that reason (often something British).
So yeah, sure this car will find a market at 1800kg, 1900kg, two tonnes. But that doesn't mean that it wouldn't find an even larger market if it was 1200 or 1300kg. The McLaren F1 and GMA T33 show how highly valued a lightweight car with a naturally aspirated V12 is.

Can't help feeling that these hypercars have evolved past being relevant anymore to anyone other than those wanting to pose. They're too fast to be driven in anger on the road so are becoming irrelevant. I would actually prefer to own something like an Emira - it would just be more fun to drive.
Never have cars like this been closer to "quick" road cars - you could potentially get burnt off at the lights when a Tesla set to maximum attack comes along...In the 90s when you had a Diablo (which weighed 1600kg, for those weight-haters saying it was better in the old days!) with 500 or 600hp (depending on model). A decent family car had what, 100hp? 120hp?

It's the same people who think all cars should be 1000kg, without realising most cars would be absolutely st if they were.
Oh come on now, how can you say that this little beauty is absolutely st? Ron240 said:

In any case being too heavy is a subjective thing. As you say those buying won't give a fig but many of us prefer our sport cars to be LIGHTER and thankfully there are plenty of choices for every budget. And yes some of those may come with a manual.
Is that hard for you to understand?
