I was met near Manchester Airport by a group of three lads (assumption there as doesnt tend to be girls, but they did have handbags...) in Balaclavas on Sur-Rons The electric dirt bikes), the one at the front was on his back wheel, on the wrong side of the road.

Its getting pretty lawless out there in some cases, wonder what the Police, or more likely the government are doing to crack down on fkwittery like that, people with no training, no insurance, no registrations plates, no helmets on powerful motorcycles riding them, badly, with impunity, I cant imagine they will just continue to just ignore them and hope they will go away.

Wonder how many are coming a cropper and needing patching up by the NHS ?
It happened round my way a couple of weeks ago. A couple of the local undesirables managed to decapitate themselves or certainly one did after their motorbike hit a car. The local fb group was interesting re: the outpouring of grief and pity. Thankfully the car driver was uninjured albeit probably mentally fked up for the rest of their life.

Thats the annoying bit, the sneering contempt for any authority, objection or even concern, until of course the inevitable happens and its all about telling us how wonderful they were.

Motorcycling is risky enough when done wholly legally and sensibly, and people do manage to go their whole riding career without getting injured, but take out the experience, common sense, safeguards, training, legality and safety gear then add it reckless behaviour these lads are at huge risk of death or injury, whilst adding extra risk for the rest of us, was a bit alarming seeing one coming towards you on one wheel, at pace, on the wrong side of the road.

There were plans for some celebration balloon release so the police closed one of the roads so that they could gather and do what they need to do. A load of bikes turned up doing wheelies etc and the bobbies turned a blind eye. Didn't stop some factions kicking off later on in the eve smashing the place up and setting fire to stuff. Unbelievable to see it unfolding on the local fb group... The vitriol directed towards the police was eye opening. These lot just need some good old fashioned justice serving up as thats the only thing they understand imo.

I see so many "Lol, the Police are all boneheads, they don't do anything" then something minor happens and it's suddenly "where are the Police, they're never around!". One rule for one, eh..

No wonder we are having mandatory speed limiters fitted.

Another example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9_woLuZ-A4&t=...

Couple of young lads in a supercharged Clio RS, in wales, in the wet, with R888s.

fking dick heads. I know these two dont come close to the idiocy of these certi driver people, but still moronic.

That looks an incredible little car, turns like a scalextric car while maintaining its composure, great build. If you're going to have a bit of fun that's the place to do it, not the town centre on a busy afternoon or the local bypass at rush hour.

Shame it sounds like a wet fart in a biscuit tin, and that rev limiter would really get on my tits...

I think it’s a bit harsh on that lad.

I watched the video and thought he was ok.

He is the middle of nowhere going fast but is in control and usually pretty quiet when he does give it a bit.

Whilst stupid driving the video is clearly sped up

Look at the state of the car though, the windscreens fubar no rear mirror, the dash lit up like a tree, what a weapon

I know he's been mentioned earlier in the thread and forms part of the title but I can't help thinking that this is possibly Adeel Habib, aka "Certi Drivers" posting again.

He was sentenced to 4 years in 2022 so could have been eligible to apply for release on license after serving half of this. This seems to tie in with when this new account began uploading on YouTube.

The driving style and the bizarre way he holds the wheel look to be the same, the editing is obviously different and the speedo is more visible now but I presume the last chap wanted to distance himself from things. From a location point of view I can't pinpoint where he is in a lot of the new stuff like I could with the older content but it's worrying he's gone more rural of late. Hopefully that reduces the number of people he'll potentially hurt though.

They seem to be following with interest on Reddit too.

Is it? The audio sounds fine to me, sounds normal 1x speed?

I'd absolutely dread to see him drive a fast car to be honest, because at least the EP3 Type-R isn't exactly renowned for its performance. So in something fast, it could end badly very quickly I reckon, and he is pushing his luck as it is anyway.

Wow, now I like a bit of a blast now and again but there is a time, a place and you need to keep a little circumspection to things, the what if factor.

If that is the same guy then that is mental, literally going to prison for similar, getting out and doing the same again straight away ?

Not sure what he is trying to prove ? its not driving skills as they are parlous, accelerating flat out and aiming the car, whilst relying on luck is not good driving.

Looks like some sleuthing going on there on Reddit, good on whoever is doing it, he needs taking off the road permanently.

Habib was released in Oct 2023. Funnily enough he was already serving a 4 year stretch for Class A, when his driving and inciting charge came to Court. For the driving/inciting, he got a mere 9 months concurrent.
